Kinda hard to say whether is the W7 causing the high CPU usage or ur hardware cant support it. But highly i believed the high usage is cause by vmware. As everything is rendered by CPU like what edmin say, and u only have 1 core to support all the processing task by my main and virtual OS. |

Hm.. Honestly i never P4 with Vmware before, sorry for cant give u the exact information. But ya cause sounds like the OS didnt recognized the processor properly, and cause the CPU-Z spec reading goes crazy. For mine now, max i can select 2 core, and min 1 core for running the vm-client. @SurpriseZZZZZ If ur mobo still under warranty then u can try to RMA it. But if the warranty is over, then there is no hope. |

Yea. Thats what i did for now, but its just strange as the W7 cant detect the processor correctly. Let me try W7 tonight with my own rigs and update here. This post has been edited by fylon: Jun 15 2009, 10:03 AM |

Nice match.. Already kena poison deep deep in modding car? @Ray One of the reason i changed SC is because of Audigy 2 doesn't work well in Vista. I was doubting how it gona perform in W7. In vista, i have to get the modded driver in order to make the Audigy 2 sounds better. This post has been edited by fylon: Jun 16 2009, 07:48 PM |

Yea. As kabu said, modded driver is needed in order to make the Audigy 2 sounds better. Well, cant find the official driver @ creative web, so the only way is to get modded driver lo. @dlwl Can said that my X-Fi Xtreme music satisfied my needs now. Especially the crystalizer function. Just love it! |
