9550 should low low low everything, no ?
*
Low until 640*480 also cannot play. It is just like slideshows. ATI9550 is using Shader 2.0 only while the game needs Shader 3.0. doh.gif

I see some Hyper-X over there. What is the price for 512MB and 1GB RAM?

QUOTE(ravewar @ Nov 18 2009, 02:57 PM)
currently got 1gb rams...and got the gfx card from powerw00t...x1300, with shader 3.0.

mebbe u r right....1gb rams oso not enough... cry.gif

1GB of RAM isn't that sufficient if you are going to load heavier games.

@raymond,
i think 2gb is the sweet spot for windows xp, and for our p4 systems.

@unknownH,
yeah, i see at garage sales mostly old generation cards, like the ati 9k series or geforce 5 series. newer series quite rare already.
*
I think the optimal one will be at 2GB but 3GB will be the best cause you may boost your system faster without the need for virtual memory from our HDDs. I have a Leadtek 5900 lying around.Are you interested?

shinjite,i thought Aeneon RAM is good in both P4 and AMD platform.

@fylon,P4 nowadays no need to push that hard. Even can push up to 4GHz also still going to lose to an E2180.

If you check the Aeneon thread, those getting 250-260Mhz are all AMD procs and its stable, heck most of the good results are from AMD

P4 processors don't really gain much with it, thats why I say it sucks
*
shinjite,sad to hear this. I am not aware that these chips are good in P4 platform. Are you plannnig to get the 2*1GB? I think the price is very reasonable. thumbup.gif

@Jcsy,Northwood based core can idle at 32-33 degree C with stock cooling. Prescoot idle would be 45-48 degree C on stock cooling. Your P4 idle at 60 degree C ?

60 degree C at stock is too high man. Maybe you need to clean out the mess inside your casing. sweat.gif
