Yup very hot Overall the performance is good even faster when loading games and applications such as adobe photoshop. But i need some extra cooling for my P4EE. Which one is better? Zalman, Gegabyte or Coolermaster?

Get a Zalman one,but it's expensive. Gigabyte has 1 rocket tower is also not bad.

zalman really a boom..... can consider others, i think you can get some good cooler from garage there as they move to newer highend hfs. tuniq is nice as well.

xp120 was designed for 478, it does come with k8 bracket. as for s775, have to buy seperately. i have this cooler for 2 years already(i think so). Thermalright is like that, never provide full bracket set for other socket. haiz......

ya, the southbridge VT8237A is damn hot when i touch it

The south bridge hot causing slow transfer rate to the HDD i think. Get a small fan to cool down the south bridge and see if helps of not.

I used Zalman Fatality FS-C77 for my 3ghz P4HT previously. Then transferred to Q6600 oc'ed to 3Ghz. U can imagine the efficiency of the cooler which can cool even a 65nm quad, lol.

All and all.. We actually can see that Edmin then is the "kayaman" in this thread.. See his rigs, even the cooler also going for TRUE120. What do u guys think, Ray? Haha.. I'm upgrade from a 2nd hand big typhoon to a RS which only cost me RM130 only. But edmin 1 biji TRUE can buy 2 RS liao!

Even processor also didnt use the commercial type, but instead of Xeon. GC then dont need to say already, GTX range, but im still using the outdated GTS. See... He baru then the kayaman..

oiittt...i buy 2nd hand stuff la...all 2nd hand except GTX, lulz... u fly to KL for RS, i only use postage. U still pwned me in the kayaman league. RAM also buy u hi end ballistix, don't make jokes la friend, haha

@ray, no watercooling for me. too much hassle for maintenance. I'm more like a no risk and lazy guy, haha... the TRUE120 is really big and heavy, but i guess that's the cons traded for the performance. got the cooler cheap from garage sales.

my hard disks are almost filled, cannot tahan anymore and got myself a WD Green 1TB for storage. Now my other HDDs can breath easy already.

Loled, GTX and GTS....True 120 and RS.... Xeon and C2Q... Hardcore rig for us already.

Hahah... Some more, he had lay his hand on 1TB HDD, i rmb he told me that gotta wait til the price for 1TB drop around 2xx then bought. Now.. Cannot tahan liao.. Gawai shopping spree!

My RS is gotten while i went for company trip.. At least i dont pay for the air ticket. Haha! So, not a matter in kayaman league.

Yea.. Borrowed from a fren of mine, Ghost Whisperer Season 1 - 3. What a nice one.. Converting from DVD to mpeg. And some other nice movies, convert is due to need to return the DVD's back to fren in time.
