The symptom of PSU menopause, sort of your PSU now unable to deliver enough power to other devices. In other word no juice, the hard friction happens tongue.gif cuba tukar yg baru ok lah kot.. hehe

check your bios, look at the Voltage readings for 12V, 5V, 3V, not forgetting the CPU voltage also. If your PSU not providing enough juice during peak usage, then u need to test on a difference approach. Run Intelburntest or Prime95 (CPU) simultaneously with furmark (graphics). wink.gif

if your system restarts or hangs in between, then your PSU juice is not enough to be stressed fully.

Nice,but 1 stick of BT-J really can't do nothing for today. sad.gif

A lot of feedback to sang_karim already, test out your PSU to see it has enough juice or not.

Karim has a good branded PSU, not a chickenchop brand. No enough juicy wise should not a problem there. Mobo is another thing to check.

Difficult to say for sure at this point of time. I ever encountered a rig with 800W Gigabyte Odin PSU, powering 4870 X2 with E8400 running stock setup. The system shutdown by itself after gaming for sometime. Checked every factor and temp was all under control. We were starting to be afraid of graphics card being overheated, faulty, etc. In the end swapped the PSU to a 700W CM Real Power and the issues went away.

Lesson is, everything is possible! wink.gif

agree with edmin. normally when i face this kind of problem i would check the psu first. if the problem still persists, i'll strip everything out, and test with just the bare hardware. then can slowly diagnose what's teh problem smile.gif

how u confirmed it? laugh.gif

500W is more than enough for daily usage. Heck, cheapo CM extreme power 500W would do fine icon_rolleyes.gif

I have a friend using 500W extreme power to run his Q6600+260GTX with no issues at all (i know, pushing the limits already sweat.gif )
