Seems like has members here support me to combine the LGA775 P4 discussion too.Not sure if mod allows to open a new thread or not.

If combine 775 and 478/479 socket threads together, then there will be a long list of users in front. If this isn't a problem for raymond then i guess this idea is feasible.

There is a problem for me if i am going to combine all new LGA775 users again into the front page.Afraid will be too many of them. Initially tis thread was dedicated for P4 discussions only,guess we should have included LGA775 P4 users too.

Just my opinion, no need to put member's name in front, don't make yourself susah2. 775ers come and go, as we can see lga775 is moving to the end of it's cycle where now ppl are talking about i7 and i5. Just add or edit the title saying that lga775 discussions are welcome

yeah...no need to susah-susah....if they PM raymond or inform raymond, then you put his/her name in laaa...

let them take their own initiative to join us...

I dont think we should combine this thread to the LGA775 one - its like asking the VW Beetle and Mini Cooper clubs to combine just because both is considered "vintage"...

Anyway LGA775 is still pretty much the mainstream business - most sales in the channel should still be in 775.

And combining will dilute the oomph of being one of those who still maintain these vintage systems (CPUs with pins, DDR1, AGP, etc...)

PCI Express X8 to X16 Adapter ,,i think is not suitable for AGP 8X slots.

our p4 system is electrically x8 only....can change to x16 ka??? hmm..

go find some VIA chipset powered mobo, it has DDR2 and PCI-E for s478.
