ATI9550 is detected as X1050 in their Catalyst driver. ATI 9600 almost = ATI9550 while ATI9600 performance is almost par with ATI9550,don't think that these series of GC can handle the game. sweat.gif

the high end x1k series should be able to at least play on medium right? cards like x1950..

yeah that's truely one beast of a card. my friend still using it, but his is pci-e version. still able to handle COD5 at mid-high settings, but i gotta say, COD series graphics are quite optimized, nice but not really taxing on the gc.

i dont think people would wanna sell this card already, those who know that this is a beast would rather keep it rite? laugh.gif
anyway, i just checked viewnet's pricelist, seems that x1950GT is still on their pricelist, RM209. but better call them to check the availability.

they only have 3 models listed in their agp range, 2600pro, x1950gt, and 3650 only sweat.gif

460w is quite ok already, my c2d rig was powered by a 390w psu before, but definitely not cap ayam one tongue.gif

get a good, branded psu, maybe higer wattage also can, then when you upgrade to a newer platform, you still can keep the psu.

Nice benchmark there without any o/c,the 3D mark 06 is about 600points higher than mine. Your cooler changed to CN9500 ? I think if your RAM is Hynix based chips will be easily hit at least 230FSB,what was the speed you o/c until your PC bluescreen?
*
Before this im using standard cooler so im change to zalman coz my CPU temp can hit 75 C. smile.gif Hmm..i dont have idea about blue screen. I just follow this :Attached Image

and suddenly when i reboot my pc come with blue screen..hmm..

Nice score, without OC the results is impressive. biggrin.gif

BTW as mention by fylon, just list down the setting before you OC. At least we can let you know what to change. smile.gif

Just look at this site http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/mainboard...us-p4p800e.html.

@llutephie
From the screen-shot, seem like your ram is running quite tight at 2-3-2-6. sweat.gif

I would suggest change the timing to 3-3-3-8 and give it a try. Try to increase the FSB little by little. smile.gif

Only increase the Vcore and VDimm when you notice the system keep reboot/restart. biggrin.gif

@llutephie

Ya ram timing seems to be quite tight. sweat.gif That might be the problem that caused BSOD when u try to OC it. Since ur using HyperX, i bet the chip should be more or less better then normal value ram. But hopefully not BH-5 in it. brows.gif

Anyways, u may try:

- set the ram timing to the loosen one, which is 3-3-3-8 / 3-4-4-8. Personally i would go for the 2nd one.

- lock ur pci frequency to 66/33 (if my memory still serve me right)

- get vdimm & vcore to the default and slowly push it when ur OC get unstable. Usually will occurred after FSB reached 220 or above. (Eg, restart, BSOD, hang @ POST screen)

@llutephie, the RAM timing is too tight for your system. sweat.gif sweat.gif Try to loosen it to 3-3-3-8 or 3-4-4-8.You may run on 3-3-3-8 first suggested by kahloon.

Added on September 7, 2009, 9:19 am@fylon,your memory is correct. The above suggestion is suit to llutephie as reference.

@fylon,not much people has chance to play a Gallatin core. wink.gif This was once one of my dream P4 proc before.Everyone was crazy because of the L3 cache.I think the L3 cache helps too in benchmarking.
