Hi,
Flashing the Radio ROM is that same as per normal COOKed ROM ?
THere's not much guide on flashing the Radio ROM compare with COOKED rom...

im currently running topix 3.1.2 on my phone with radio 1.14 and i notice some lag when using garminxt on my phone..its like 1-2 sec delay..is this normal or its just cz of the rom? any opinion u guys? cz i dunno how garmin operate on the standard rom nway..
nway,anybody tried radio 1.17? some says its a battery hogger but with better signal strenght..nid some opinion b4 flashing it to my device

I haven't get my HD yet..but there are some questions appeared in my mind.. 1. What is cooked ROM? same with flash ROM? 2. What is radio you all discussing? What is the difference between ROM and radio? 3. HD pre-installed WM 6.1 right? is it upgradeable to WM 6.5? officially or what? I hope someone can explain me..so I know what to do when i get my HD  |

Official ROM - is Original ROM from Factory. Flash ROM - mean Reprogram your ROM (OS) just like formatting your PC to new OS. 2. Uprading your Radio ROM will imporve your phone reception and signal. some custom rom has already bond with latest radio rom. 3. HD ROM is WM6.1 , not upgradeable to WM6.5 officially. Radio is part of the ROM , without the Radio ROM your phone is useless. also each Model and Brand has their own ROM's and Radio ROM's you cant just Flash other ROM's into your HD. |

plz sumbody help me with garminxt..time to lock on satellite r fast,sumtimes less than 10 sec but while navigating lag 1-2 sec..help me resolve this as i already gave my brothers my gps unit now depends on my phone nly..  running on topix 3.1.2 and radio 1.14 |

Apparently launching date in Kl is next week before PC fair. I have already book my unit with Yeap ( http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1222586 ) and hopefully be one of the early birds to have it . For those who have earlier posed questions about the pre launched price, Yeap told me is limited to only 10 units. And the price will remain as posted even if official retail price is higher. If the price is lower , he will reduce it accordingly to match it . I have dealt with Yeap before and I have no worries about him . Anyway this rom version I have tested only less than a week ( but very satisfying to use ) as I just sold off my htc HD ( restored back to original stock rom ) in preparation for my new buy the htc HD2 |

anyhow, those who has been using Dutty's ROM should know this by now: Dutty has stopped cooking ROMs for Touch HD...

he has been cooking for windows 6.5 for some time, his latest (most probably last ROM) for Touch HD is Win6.5 LEO Holy Grail R0... |
