Most cooked WM6.5 ROM are buggy, including Dutty WM6.5. Apparently it is not due to the chef but the WM6.5 OS itself.
Anyway, Dutty 3.7 manila 2.0 is almost bug free.

For those whose girlfriend/wife who have been complaining that you have spent too much money on this good for nothing phone and also spending so much time tweaking the phone; here is something for you to pacify her if not them. She may even encourage you to use more of your HTC HD. wub.gif

One thing I found out that each time you cancel a program, it will return back to the home screen. Find it slightly troublesome..

Shouldn't this be the case? This will get you ready to launch your next task or just display home until the device goes to sleep.

Let's assume this scenario.
Let's say if you were go to the "About" screen. You will have to navigate to Start > Settings >  System > About.
Let's say you want to go back to System. By clicking OK on the "About" screen, it will take you straight back to the Home Screen.
It'll be a little frustration to go all the way from Start to System again.
Can't you use the back arrow key to go back to System?
By the way, is it possible to customize the "favourites" on the Home Screen? By clicking the Add/Remove, it only prompt me with several items. I don't see any options of adding your own favourites. or am I not paying too much attention? biggrin.gif

Sorry, I was on WM6.5 (Dutty) for only a few hours before I reflash back to WM6.1

hiyah!, wrong strategy! Gf/wife on seeing you so contented playing with your HTC HD, will take their time to shop and will spend more than you could afford. Must pretend to look bored and impatient. doh.gif

If you must; Xtrakt

All WM phones suffer from this inherent problem. We just need to live with it or minimize it. tongue.gif
wma files will also minimize the delay.

..............................however, you can assign the hard buttons, except the home button, to do multi tasks per button, using third party programs such as AE Button Plus or H Button. biggrin.gif My Wifi is available at the press of one of the hard buttons.

It is much easier to install from the device. The fourth post of Samsung Omnia thread here provides a good detailed instruction as how to do it. wink.gif

@logy,

Just to clarify further. At the Official Site you are only allowed to download the official Malaysia/Singapore upgrade ROM and no other ROM with your serial number. However you can download ROMs for other countries here. If you want to download these ROMs I would suggest the WWE (Worldwide English) ROMs only.

Before you flash, read this Dummies Guide first.
