NeuDynamic V1.3 is working well on my HTC HD Dutty 3.3. You cannot overclock, just underclock mainly while the device is inactive. When active it will run at default speed. When there is no activity within 5 sec the underclock kicks in. When backlight is turned off, further underclock kicks in. When at sleep it only operates at very very slow speed. When activated the default speed kicks in. thumbup.gif

Too early to tell. Still monitoring the performance. Have not decided to keep or not. So far so good.

Before you do that, goto Maxis Internet site to configure the MMS settings. It will be sent to your device almost instantly. biggrin.gif

I have decided to uninstall this program. I am not a heavy phone user and this program did not cause any major problem to my device and also did not greatly improve my battery life. At times it appears to improve battery life and on one or two occasions my device behave strangely but I can't definitely pin it to this program. I won't mind trying again if there is an updated version in future.
Depending on my usage, my battery life ranges from one to three days with and without this program.

I've tried NeuDynamic 1.3 for some time, certain settings will drain more battery and if set correctly, it helps to save battery power (particularly in suspend mode).

I follow these settings below, seems good (prolong battery life:D)

idle after 5000ms: 384 MHz
on backlight of: 122.88 MHz
on suspend: 122.88 MHz
*
I have previously mentioned that I have uninstalled NeuDynamic from my device. HTC HD by default also reduces processing speed at the various stages as mentioned. I use Bat Test (Battery Test program) to monitor the mA usage of the battery without NeuDynamic. The battery mA usage drop correspondingly to the various stages, ie active, idle, backlight off and suspension.

I recently roll back my Radio from 1.14.25.24 (from Dutty 3.3 ROM) to 1.10.25.25. I can confirm that my battery life has improved by 20% with the previous version Radio.

Dutty 3.4 with Radio 1.14.25.24 is also known to improve battery life. I have just reflashed from Dutty 3.4 back to Dutty 3.3 due to 2 bugs which I can't live with ie enlarged program icons, all program icons in rows not grids format and new appointment appears a few second delayed. Other than these, XDA is reporting good performance with Dutty 3.4

No. The icons are larger and the icons at the two side columns are displayed right at the edge of the screen. Icon names are also misaligned.

hey DrWho, is the layout come with the Dutty 3.4??

Added on May 20, 2009, 3:48 pmi wanna ask whats the diff between Dutty's V3.4 XT standard / CVSD / MSVC
*
Yes the screenshot is from Dutty 3.4 and the Program icon layout is not as good in Dutty 3.3, see Post #81 to compare.

CVSD & MSVC are both Voice activated programs for speed dial and program launcher. Cyberon Voice Speed Dial & MicroSoft Voice Control.

You only need to install Dutty's fix cabs, eg. FM Radio fix. No need for hotfix, all taken care by Dutty rclxms.gif

Dutty 3.4 has a few bugs in it. V3.5 will be out this weekend. Dutty ROM is definitely faster than stock ROM, that is why it is so popular.

I'm using auto mode, i did always need to re-configure when the phone disconnection, is it possible the phone spoilt?

Did you configure as what evilpuppy suggested, Start>Settings>Connection>Connection Setup. That is a better way to configure your Network.

If it fails again after the configuration, backup all your data and Hard Reset. I am confident that will resolve your problem.

Dutty Throy cooks ROM. He uses the latest HTC HD ROM as the base and stripped off some of the standard and not so useful WM applications and includes some of the more useful applications created by him and others. Thus making his cooked ROM to operate faster and more convenient to use than the stock ROM.

Of course his is not the only cooked ROM available for HTC HD, there are few others. Some are based on WM6.1 which is the OS of the HTC HD. Some based their ROM on WM6.5 OS.

Dutty has so far produced his ROM based on WM6.1. His WM6.5 based ROM is expected to be released by tomorrow.

The original WM 6.1 OS is not very user friendly. HTC and other phone companies create their own User Interface to make their phone easier to use. Cooked ROM usually has better User Interface than the manufacturer's.
