hi guys i have just installed HSPL into my hd. The color on my screen just went gila. the phone is still functional but the color is gone.

That is because the USPL or HSPL was not properly installed. Presumably you flashed a new ROM after the HSPL installation. Goto the Dummies Guide listed a few posts earlier.

Hard Reset: Simultaneously hold Vol up key and Vol down key. While still holding these two keys tab power key and release the power key immediately while still holding down the other two keys until the boot screen appears.

Try using USPL instead of HSPL and reflash the ROM

i havent flash it with a rom yet... i just instaled hspl 1.56, i read somewhere it say that the 1.56 may not be compatible with our older rom

If your screen is showing distorted and greenish images, then 1.56 is not compatible with your ROM. Possible solution: USPL and reflash the existing ROM or just flash to a 1.56 and above ROM.

I would recommend Dutty v 3.7 or 3.9. Almost bug free. I am using v3.7 and am very happy with it. Too lazy to flash to v3.9 as I have too many programs installed.

My SDHC 8Gb card just disappeared and now cannot be detected by the device!
Fortunately I have backed up the SD card data to my PC last month. 1 month of data lost! vmad.gif
I understand this occurs randomly in HTC HD. So back up to be safe! brows.gif

It is very difficult to find another WM device to beat the HTC HD in terms of sreen size, ROM and RAM size, speed, fluidity, stability, HTC support and of course pricewise.user posted image

If you are not in a hurry, you may want to wait for the release of HTC Firestone, the successor of Blackstone HD. Will be released soon wink.gif

If you want a new Radio, latest is 1.14..., go to XDA Wiki to download. USPL>Flash and you will have a new Radio with your current ROM.

I am still using Dutty WM6.1 v3.7 as it can show 4 appointments with big clock and the appointments also show Day and Date, after tweaking.

Soft reset your device, it may help to activate the ActiveSync. BLACIMG.nbh is a ROM.

HTCPedia has a new tool for HD setting call HD Settings Tool. Good features. rclxms.gif You need to register with HTCPedia, in order to download the cab, which is easy.

Hey guys,I just got my phone yesterday..Im lovin it!

But the battery drains out quite fast..

What should i do?

Don't turn on wireless and bluetooth unless using them. Use HD Tweak or Advanced Configuration programs to tweak to conserve battery.

Greeting everyone,

I got my set last fri and had since cooked my ROM to Topix 2.9.4. I have some questions which i hope all the sifus here can share

1. After I had cooked Topix 2.9.4 into my HD the SPL at bootloader shows 1.54.0000, Do you guys cooks on to use 1.56.xxxx as per the wiki in xda-developer ?

2. The IMEI number in Setting-Identity shown 2 trailing digits (my case is 01), what does that mean if any?

3. To cook the radio we need to have security unlock and from xda-developer site, it was mentioned it will show on the bootloader screen. Did you guys use Oniplex software to do that ?

4. Where can I can get the latest radio version, xda-developer also ? If I am not mistaken the latest radio is 1.16xxx, does it works well with topix ?
*
1. Read THIS
2.
3. You only need to security unlock if you are using the unofficial Radio 1.16. Radio 1.16 is ported from Sony Ericsson X1 and can brick your device.
4. Latest Official Radio is availableHERE

PS You flash ROM not cook. Cook is when you are designing/programming your own ROM. tongue.gif

If you are "flasher" make sure you have something worthy to show off. biggrin.gif
When you USPL the original SPL in your device will not be amended, it will still show the original.
