The software in our storage drive is called Garmin Mobile XT. It is a GPS software by Garmin for GPS Navigation. I believe the seller installed the program for you when you purchase the phone. By the way how much did you get it for and where?

Windows Mobile comes with calculator for sure. It is somewhere in the program area. Search for it.
or you can install the better version of HTC calculator.

I got it recently from pc fair in Singapore for SGD 388 after $200 Trade-In....got free 8GB memory card + NFS Undercover + MONOPOLY games....anyways, I dislike the operator logo in the theme and behind the cover. How to remove it?

Welcome, if you have normal windows knowledge then shouldnt be any problem for you. because its Microsoft mahh operation almost da same as win desktop.

anyways, have to actually edit the shortcut key function in the today screen..currently my left shortcut key is "starhub" and right is "program"...would like to change to other..any idea?

It is now v3.9. It is very fast and stable

Edit Oops... reverted back to v3.7. Experienced SMS problem!

why you revert to v3.7? i thought you're using v3.8 without problems. Are you using manila 2.1 or 2.0 with the v3.9 rom? i bet it's 2.1 manila that has the sms problem.

u can try to solve the sms problem by using Microsoft ActiveSync to backup your contact
it works for me........

Dutty V3.9..
that's super fast update.. it seems like Dutty has been releasing software too quickly lately..
How's the performance with manila 2.1?

3.7 manila is bug free for me. I had SMS problem with 3.9 manila 2.1
3.9 is faster and uses less memory.

Added on June 18, 2009, 9:14 amYes that was how I restored my PIM for v3.7 which was trouble free. I also installed many programs which would take almost a day to get my device totally running, ie reinstall programs and configuring etc etc
For 3.9 I just restored the WHOLE system and PIM which takes less than half an hour from flashing to running.
May try 3.9 again this weekend using from scratch installation.

Added on June 18, 2009, 9:23 amMost of the time when Dutty came out with a new ROM, he improved it BUT along the way he introduced some other bugs, just like 3.4, 3.5 3.6 & 3.8.
3.8 was out only for a day and was replaced by 3.9. Better wait a while I have itchy hands
I don,t see much difference between manila 2.0 and 2.1 except for 24 icons versus 30 icons in the Program page

Agree.. I would rather stick to manila 2.0 since there are so many people with problems on the SMS.. even with Activesync backup..

i have "ditched" Dutty's ROM since the day I flashed Miri WM6.5 ROM, but still keep track of Dutty's work just in case I wanted to flash back to WM6.1. Miri ROM is not perfect, here and there can see some bugs or mis-operation. I really hate it when the phone rang and I could not pick up the phone because it has been locked. Not sure if Dutty's ROM behave so.

Most cooked WM6.5 ROM are buggy, including Dutty WM6.5. Apparently it is not due to the chef but the WM6.5 OS itself.
Anyway, Dutty 3.7 manila 2.0 is almost bug free.
