QUOTE(evilpuppy @ May 24 2009, 12:56 PM) apparently you dont have to read backward to understand Dutty things all you have to do is go to Xda Wiki's read and learn from there we all. flashing wasnt that hard just make sure you follow exact model and instruction given. Dutty is a Cooked Custom ROM by one of the popular xda community not only Dutty's there's also more custom rom cooker. every week they sure come up with their newly tweak and fine tune custom rom. and the original set you bought only loaded with Stock ROM which is factory tune only. QUOTE(DrWho @ May 24 2009, 01:16 PM) Dutty Throy cooks ROM. He uses the latest HTC HD ROM as the base and stripped off some of the standard and not so useful WM applications and includes some of the more useful applications created by him and others. Thus making his cooked ROM to operate faster and more convenient to use than the stock ROM. Of course his is not the only cooked ROM available for HTC HD, there are few others. Some are based on WM6.1 which is the OS of the HTC HD. Some based their ROM on WM6.5 OS. Dutty has so far produced his ROM based on WM6.1. His WM6.5 based ROM is expected to be released by tomorrow. The original WM 6.1 OS is not very user friendly. HTC and other phone companies create their own User Interface to make their phone easier to use. Cooked ROM usually has better User Interface than the manufacturer's. Thanks guys.. Now I know the basic overview about dutty... I will try to learn and understand more before I myself start flashing...

And.... did you all try to sms more than 20ppl in 1 shot? i tried it with my TP, i ended up not receiving any sms until i soft-reset, and those sms are lost even after i soft-reset. Guys Im having a weird problem. I was using my device with an 8 gb SD card without any problem. Then, my device had some problems so I sent it back and they exchange one for me. Now im still using the previous 8gb SD card. When I put my SD card into this new device, it cannot read it. Not even from Active Sync. But I tested the card with my Samsung Omnia and the card is working fine in the Omnia. All this while Im using the stock 1.14 ROM. I dont have other SD card so I couldnt troubleshoot the problem. My question is, anyone else having this problem? is it possible that my device is faulty hence cannot read the SD card?

My question is, anyone else having this problem? is it possible that my device is faulty hence cannot read the SD card? since you mentioned that the SD card is readable in Omnia, most probably the SD card is not faulty...do you have a card reader? try to use a card reader to test the SD card, if working properly then make a backup copy of whatever files you have inside and format the SD card. After formatting, try it on your HD...

But same case, cannot read card from phone. I tried with other SD card also , same problem also. If this is cased by faulty part, anyone here knows if this a small matter and can be repaired easily?

Why don't you perform a hard reset before sending over to HTC?
