Hi guys, just a lil update for my slow o/c session, these are my most OCCT stable speed i could get at the moment:

Phenom II X3 720BE C2 | 3200Mhz | cloudwan | MSI DKA790GX Platinum | Corsair Gaming RAM PC6400 | 800Mhz | 5-5-5-18-23 | Xigmatek HDT-S964

Please ignore the 12v reading on OCCT and HWMonitor, apparently on M boards only Everest can read it correctly.. sweat.gif
Demm i just notice that my 3.2ghz ss, cpuz shows cpu speed at 800mhz only doh.gif
I'll try oc somemore, but right now i need my sleep to wake up at 3am.. sweat.gif

Only targeting up to 3.7ghz, so far so good, last time using my older ST56F i can't even get it OCCT stable at 3.2ghz at the same volt.. doh.gif
Haven't found any special bios for unlocking the 4th core yet, but i did able to download MSI new official bios.. Right now still using ver1.6, new ver is 1.7..
By the way when u oc ur old 720BE did u up d volt for the NB?? I kept getting memory purge when i oc over 3.4ghz.. hmm.gif

3.5GHz should be a freeze for 720BE if no unlockin involved. start from there & keep whackin it w/ volts until u hit d wall. after that, then only bring down d volt w/ more burn in.  :/hehe:

U oc using Athlon 7750 eh? Oc'ing cpu base on star architecture@phenom@athlon 7series will usually cause CnQ haywire.. sweat.gif
It was the same when i was oc'ing my 9850, even the new deneb base Phenom II, CnQ only works perfectly up to speed of 3.6ghz if i'm not mistaken.. hmm.gif

Depends on whut ur gonna do with it, in gaming, surfing bla bla no need go up to quad ler..
But if ur heavy multitasker, folding, video encoding try ah go up highest u can get with the quad.. smile.gif
