HDD nearly full will also contribute in this prob. try cleaning for sum space. myself always leave the C: partiton at least 15% free space.

Better Change To SATA.Well,It's Perform Better Than IDE.IDE HDD Is Quite Expensive.

Vista and 7 should be ok. XP still in native IDE mode ohmy.gif set in bios before install windows

If in EVEREST they say your HDD is in IDE mode, does it mean it is running native IDE?

I don't know but I feel my HDD like quite slow... Transferring between partitions is only about 20MB/s
