The price is consider high for the quotation but is it include some minor contract works like adding kerb at bottom?or maybe some part need to install additional tiles?or maybe some piping works need to relocate?

It's a drainage outlet or floor trap.

Of course you need an outlet for water from the shower to drain off.

If there is no outlet, install the shower screen to sit on a raised kerb (say 50mm) with brick and cement mortar
The kerb keeps the water within the shower cubicle. Create a recess (50mm) through the kerb for the water from inside
the cubicle to drain out to the floor trap.
The tiler has to lay the floor tiles to fall to the direction of the outlet.

You have to consider the length and height. The price I got is for my washroom.

You can try Solid Glass.

The glass partition installer does not provide the kerb. You have to get your tiler or mason to do it.
The kerb as a base is also good to keep the glass panel clean, being above floor level.

My house already has a kerb.
How much is it to just install on top of the kerb?
Approx. 5ft(L) x 3ft(W)

You can see it at their showroom in Puchong.
Looks like a piece of kitchen table top, solid plastic.
They silicon it to the floor I think.

My uncle's house located at Subang Jaya, just completed renovation by extending and upgrading his bathrooms to luxury atmosphere. Went to visit his home a few days ago and he was proudly showing me his bathroom with his new shower screen setup. Apparently, his shower screen's dimensions were rather close to yours. Was showing him your quotation on my laptop, he said he managed to get it at a much cheaper price from Emack Enterprise, which so happen was the same shop that I did my shower screen with. What a coincidence! Didn't know he wanted shower screens at his bathroom if not I would have recommended him at the first place to save the hassles. He was happy with the services and found it affordable compared to the other shops he checked around for quotation.

Previously my uncle's lower ground bathroom shower screen, he did it from another shop and the service was terrible. Punctuality was a concern, unprofessional and kept delaying installation date. He was unhappy when he recalled the experience.

Maybe you can check with Emack Enterprise?

My bathrooms were also upgraded a while ago and I did it with Emack also. Happy with my bathroom so far as water can't splash across when bathing.

Hate those bathrooms that are always wet!

Hope this reply helps jedi23 enquiry yea cool.gif

Recently installed a tampered glass shower screen in bathroom and yesterday was shocked to find the glass door "shattered" by itself. Good thing is the glass did not break into pieces since it's tempered glass. What is surprising is I haven't used it yet since I have not moved into the condo. What could be the cause? Inferior glass quality?

Anyone experienced it before?

Water marked can't be avoid. You need to use vinegar to soak bit and use normal way to scrap it.
