Construct a small up-stand kerb. This will prevent the shower water from flowing out to the rest of the bathroom.
As for the material, I recall being told that there is some ready made material that the installer could cut according to the site dimensions and fasten before installing the tempered glass.
*
Went aroun and it seems that there are 3 option.
1. get your tile contractor to install a tile type kerb
2. get the shower screen installer to install a aluminium type kerb
3. get the shower screen installer to install a solid surface (fiber or plastic) type kerb.

I'll be going for option 3. if kick the kerb accidentally, less damage tongue.gif

Depend, if you have space use glass door (#1), Glass sliding door is more expensive. Not sure what do you mean by aluminum frame.

I have both, the door, and sliding. My glass sliding door only have top stainless steal. No panels.

That look nice, but the bottom railing will it trip people walking over if your shower area not sunken lower?
What glass do they give? Tempered?

Yea, Tempered 5mm...

hmm..the tripping part...I think should be alright...cos a lot of houses are using it as well..but of cos the "Door type tempered like urs" would be a better choice..and Tempered is 10mm...

Still thinking....hehe

My sliding is 8mm Tempered. Door is 10mm. Because you need more force to push open the door.

You have to consider the length and height. The price I got is for my washroom.

You can try Solid Glass.

The price is definitely on the high side, shower screen + door over 3k??? The contractor is making a killing on the owner.
