My bathroom floor is flat. Wanna install a tempered glass shower screen, any design that also provide a floor partition that prevent water from flowing out?

Construct a small up-stand kerb. This will prevent the shower water from flowing out to the rest of the bathroom.
As for the material, I recall being told that there is some ready made material that the installer could cut according to the site dimensions and fasten before installing the tempered glass.

Went aroun and it seems that there are 3 option.
1. get your tile contractor to install a tile type kerb
2. get the shower screen installer to install a aluminium type kerb
3. get the shower screen installer to install a solid surface (fiber or plastic) type kerb.

I'll be going for option 3. if kick the kerb accidentally, less damage tongue.gif

You have to consider the length and height. The price I got is for my washroom.

You can try Solid Glass.

I got my bi-fold door from them too. But the do not know anything about shower screen kerb. shakehead.gif

Kerb is done by your tilers mah. All my shower area kerb are done by tiler guru.

The plastic / solid top type offered by reliance is also an option but when I ask the solid glass salesman, he dunno shakehead.gif

The glass partition installer does not provide the kerb. You have to get your tiler or mason to do it.
The kerb as a base is also good to keep the glass panel clean, being above floor level.

Reliance does.. X tra RM 200.00

But that is just add ontop of the floor right? Not cement kerb. You have sample how it look like?

You can see it at their showroom in Puchong.
Looks like a piece of kitchen table top, solid plastic.
They silicon it to the floor I think.

Need expert advise here. Is it we need to hack the tiles if we need to install shower screen?
*
usually need a "kerb" to prevent water flow out from shower screen boundary.
If existing floor do not have kerb, might need to hack the floor to add in.
Another option is to add in a solid surface kerb.
Should not need hacking for this.
I guess with the same logic you might not even need to hack to add in a tiled kern but might look fugly. tongue.gif
