hrmm can someone help me ASAP =)
bathroom window was built directly above the border of my shower area (e.g. i have the bathroom floor then a polygon shaped shower area that's sunken down abit) and i intend for a shower screen around the area.i have thought about two methods to fix it
1 is to hack n move the window away from the area.
2 is to build the shower screen there over the window grille, but i donno if this can be done.
alternative 2 is the one i need advise on.

but mine's worst coz the window is two paneled and the border extension (where the shower screen is gonna be) is somewhere about the middle of the two panels..

You have to snap a picture or floor plan. Hard to imagine.

In your case no problem to do the shower screen. Just that one part of it (over the window) won't sit flush against the wall like in normal case. There will be a gap between the frame and the window, that's all.

As you said, the only issue is it won't look as nice. But doesn't mean it cannot be installed. It will look something like this:

So up to you if you can accept the look or not. If you cannot accept the look then relocate the window.

How about a aluminium frame glass install same level as the wall? Just the shower side. This will prevent the water flash over. The aluminium frame glass will look about same as your shower screen frame like 1 line. So doesn't look ugly too much.

Or modify the window to long type. Which mean cover up the lower part. Than your shower screen should look nice. Saw some banglo toilet window in this design too.

Since it's in the middle of reno then the inconvenience won't bother you. So it's just a matter of cost to do the window relocation.

Sketch up a 3d will help people here to visualise.

Hire big I'd your toilet windows? If your toilet are not big 2x2 will do. Unless you want it for light coming in.
