Go to the Apple Byes section, look for the 'hackintosh' thread. Or you can just google 'hackintosh'.

I just got a hold of a CQ40-401AU, how could u guys stand the heat coming from this laptop..... i can feel it on my left hand... its torture.... is there any way to cool it? i choose the AMD over Intel bcause of the better GC reviews from the net, they say AMD GC perform twice better than the Intel 1.....

How to make my extended to 1440 x 900 full screen ??? I assume you are using VGA output. Just plug it the monitor and detect the monitor. Select the resolution and use extended mode. I have tried 1920x1080 Full HD with HDMI before.

My notebook monitor resolution is 1200 x 800 only, does it mean my extended one also cannot support more than this resolution ? please help

You'd have to adjust the overscan option accordingly.
