certs from OPDA can only be used for the HP which IMEI it is requested with

guys.. i got 1 problem just now. if i select "shortcut bar" as my home screen theme, i can't press anything at the home screen.

even the 4 shortcuts did not appear.

if i change to "basic" or "contact bar" it work as usual. i didn't change / usik anything, it just happened in a blink of an eye.

i guess it's the problem with "home.scr"

and before that, all my messages suddenly gone. twice. once it happened few months before.

tired la with this phone d. sigh.

any solution?

i waited for half a day for the cert dy....can sign with s60signer ...but when install stil cant..show cert error,i know im using the corect cert for my fren because if he use the app i signed with my cert,it wil show "contrained by cert"....but his is stil cert error....hard reset twice and soft reset but stil to no avail

can it sign other freeware...try signing free-isms with it

One odd thing abt 5800xm is that to go to the Main Menu you have to press the centre white button. There is no straight forward way to access the main menu thru Touch Screen.
There is one work around for this. You can give a shortcut for "Menu" on the Home Screen . Now you can directly access the main menu by simply tapping the Menu Shortcut on the Home Sceen Grin.

for those who don't know where to set shortcuts,
go to Menu>Settings>Personal>Home Screen> ShortCuts
Then for one of the 4 Shortcuts select "Applications" > "Menu" .
Make sure you have the Home Screen Theme set to Shortcuts in
Menu>Settings>Personal>Home Screen>Home Screen Theme

about the contact thingy... i was thinking.... mayb it's how it's designed.... erm... it will blink between number and name when it's calling... however one reason it appear number and not number might be because of the +6 in front...

eg. u save ur frens contact 0161234567, when ur fren call he might be outstation in other state or somehow the operator change his call number, it'll be come +60161234567 so it will display as number instead of name...

Solution: ask ur fren to call you then u re-save the number.....
