ramunia's fair value per msci pre-due dilligence was 2.5b, and per sime's proposal is now 0.23b. msci's proposal was really a smoke screen and sime is now a bail out for lembaga tabung haji.

KUALA LUMPUR (Dow Jones)--Malaysian conglomerate UMW Holdings Bhd. (4588.KU) may bid for oil and gas concern Ramunia Holdings Bhd. (7206.KU) to strengthen its oil and gas business, challenging Sime Darby Bhd. (4197.KU)'s 41 sen a share offer, the Malaysian Reserve reported Wednesday.
Citing unnamed sources, the daily said the UMW's offer will be made in "the next few days," but didn't give details. Sime Darby is offering MYR232 million for Ramunia's assets to be financed through cash and shares if unit Sime Engineering. Sime needs only a simple majority to get the deal through. -By Kuala Lumpur bureau; Dow Jones Newswires; 603-2692-5254; djnews.kldowjones.com |

wow, that provides room for imagination or just another sideshow to this saga. ramunia was trading abot 1.30 for a very long time as msci was wanting to pay > Rm4 a share. 35 to 40 sen today for ramunia or is it still suspended?

Feeling is not that bad when the price drops after I bought it, but the feeling is really sucks when the price sky rocket if u did not buy what you wanted to buy. So I decided, see 'red' buy, see 'green' hold if it's a good fundamental stock... LCL is a no no to me. It did not submit audited accounts by now and did not pay its staff salaries. Scary stuff.

Hi guys,
Be careful of this counter, Bursa may started investigating stock manipulation on KNM...like IRIS before... Just to caution those who are over-excited. cheers, June |

Time has changed. Speculation is the least of Bursa's worries now as its own biz is still sluggish. Any pullback will be welcome by those still with bullet and have faith. KNM's movement is by no means manuipulative comparable to what you see in overseas where prices fluctuate up and down substantially all within one same day. Like many other things in this world, it does not operate in a straightforward way. that much is true or else everybody can be rich. haha

I agreed with CKC. Actually there are many more counter performed better than knm recently. I think our Bursa will be too busy to investigate them all if knm is suspected.
