It is part of value discovery. A good company does not worry about price manipulation as fundamentals are so visible. being a pro-cyclical stock, KNM is however very vulnerable to biz cycle. wild swings are as normal as that in oil price.

If it reaches RM3 now, then it is manipulative. Allegation of manipulation must always relate to basic indicator such as PE, biz model, net assets, etc.
