Another reason to be wary these stocks.
I just hope this is not goreng but rather value investing. |

QUOTE(CKC (Sense-Maker) @ Apr 24 2009, 09:46 AM) NTA low is ok if the company is perennially profitable, needing no significant capital base to support biz growth. Chinalife's fate is dependent on share performance. I think the same goes to MAA, which is why it is rising. Insurance company cheats your money and invest it yo make return higher than the 1%effective return they pay policy holders as a whole. MAA is mainly in the auto-insurance biz... only recently ventured into other types of insurance...Added on April 24, 2009, 9:49 amMAS-PA bougt at 75sen is you, teewan? Nope, bought yesterday 0.735!!! Hmmm got bit momentum again...
Added on April 24, 2009, 10:48 amCKC, if you wanna get good bulk buy for MAS-PA, wait for MAS shares to drop (hopefully). I think the trend is such that ppl don't look at the long term prospects yet. They just use the MAS share price divided by 4.05 to derive at MAS-PA pricing. Do a bit of research on the trend n u can see. At the beginning of this year, the price even went to around RM0.65 Perhaps ppl into share market are mostly short to medium term traders, expecting big gains in short duration. So you tell them 10% PA, they say pah..... Added on April 24, 2009, 10:50 amYeah! Perwaja is now out of penny stock category! This post has been edited by teewan: Apr 24 2009, 10:50 AM |
