how large is the canister filter? l/h?

I suspect its due to undersized filter... also, why no step 1? lol.

@shortpants,
My set-up is a 3feet tank(90cm x 45x45) powered with 300w. ( 150w MH + 36wPL x 4)

Here's a proof of creeping glossos.

Well, that was at week 3. the tank is over 2 months now, and I trimmed the glosso lawn 3 times already lol.

haha yujin-san, the "joy" of glossos, gotta keep trimming them. theyre as big of a nuisance as duckweed LOL.

Sometimes I wonder.. why the F did I choose riccia and glosso as my foreground lol.

you ARE on the wrong thread. Here is green.. not blue lol.

Try mysis or brine shrimp mix if it is not accepting manufactured foods...

mine is not that case... urs is bout the same with the 1 i saw at lfs ekano...

my glosso is crawling but doesnt stay low... my tank is only 1.5ft wit 55w pl 28-29c...

so is it due to insufficient lights or not cold enough?

@shortpants

Bump up your lighting, and lower your temperature.. 28~29C is far from favorable. 27~28 would be better.

try this, lights is not as "essential" as you think. Step 1 please!

you mean you're pumping 2 pumps each weekly? Here's how I fertilize my tanks. It is a risky fertilizing schedule if you don't know what you're doing.

2feet.
72w lighting
25C temperature
1 pump of Brighty K and Step series DAILY and 2 pumps after water change.

3feet

300w lighting
25C temperature

3 pumps daily of Step 1 and K.. 5 pumps after water change.

Well that is my ferting regiment. But I won't do that if I were you considering that your temperature isn't that low and lighting isn't as high. But as I kept saying, risky business- you gotta know what you're doing.

Try dosing 1 pump each every 2 days? or 3 pumps per week after water change?
