Haha. Okay. But, may I know what's that for? When do we have to use it?
Wow. Is it okay if we don't create the disc?
Recovery discs is used when you suffers system instability, etc and you want to return your laptop to the original factory condition (the condition when you've just bought your laptop). In simple terms, it is a kind of "REFORMAT PC".
Its OK if you didn't create the disc. But when problem occurs in the future and your model have been phased out, you'll have to send it to the service center and wait for XX days just to perform System Recovery. With the disc, you an perform the system recovery by yourself and it only takes about 3-4 hours.

I haven't really start using it since I haven't create recovery disc, afraid something bad might happen to it
Are any DVDs will do to create the recovery disc?
What model are you using right now? How's your Vaio treating you?

Any DVD-R will do. Dont put DVD-RW. It'll reject it. It wont burn.

I created the recovery discs using 2 DVDr.
It's ok to use ur lappy right away, as I heard the recovery data are stored in the HDD inside.
Pls correct me if I'm wrong~~
Yes, the recovery data is stored in the HDD.
