bought the extended warranty together with my vaio purchased. i bought mine at sony style tebrau city at JB..

i was told only sonystyle shop can get the point and redeem it, not sure how true is it.
there is 4 sonystyle shop, KLCC, Curve, Time Square and Tebrau City.

they will provide extended warranty service as well but it must be during the purchase of vaio.you cant extend it anymore after that.

i got the maybank sony card, free extended for one year, and the point i get is for the 3rd year warranty.. that why i can redeem the points for the 3rd year warranty with only RM50 ..

Anything that Sony does and when it comes with the "X" moniker, be prepared to fork out tons of $$$ for it. Maybe a lil higher than the Z47.
