hi, when i bought my tt35...i extend the warranty...just to know, how to check the warrant status? what website?
*
You should get the extended warranty certificate, which they'll mail to you.
I too bought extended warranty for 2 years, but it doesn't show up on mysony. When I called sony CS, they verified my extended warranty but says the website will only show normal warranty.

Any FW46 users here?
Did you notice that when you open up the lid (the usual position when you use the notebook), the hand rest area (either left or right) is actually slightly lifted ? So when ever you rest your hands on the handrest area, the notebook actually moves down.

And if you look at the bottom, can see that there's actually space between the rubber studs and the table. I can actually pass a piece of paper/thin cardboard through the rubber studs.

So is this a design defect on Sony's part for this model?
Any of you guys using FW46, can you please have a look at your unit. I've written to Sony Malaysia and awaiting their reply.

Hmm.. for the ar18gp is only comes with 32bit Vista Ultimate, so 4GB ram is already max.

Procced to Mid Valley North point (SONY service centre) or KLCC sonystyle to order.
But usually they take 2-3 week to arrive.

doh.gif my bad, i forgot to update the first page due to busy with works. Didn't seem to have a free time. Sorry.

go to www.sony-asia.com then choose support -> download. Search your models (normally starts with VGN) then follow step by step after choosing the XP downgreade link.

Yeah, if you're downgrade to XP, the disadvantage is some of the key eg those you've mentioned will not function. And also the webcam.
