what you mean by not suit? cos the screen too small? the speed too slow? or not lasting or will damage the notebook? i always use notebook to watch movie either from pen drive or cd rom..

In fact, Sony has a dedicated Vaio that suits people who prefer entertainment on mobile. The FW series.

i dont know what to say about this.. *facepalm*
anyway, notebook nowadays able to watch movie frequently. no harm for it. but if you frequently put your notebook on the area that have bad air flow (bed mattress, futon, carpet etc) it will kills the notebook slowly since the notebook unable to dissipate the heat well
if gaming, thats another case..

wah P23 spec is much better here...XP Premium & 80GB with a compact stylish netbook, that is more than enough:drool:

for p23, can upgrade ram to 2gb ourselves? got any extra slot or can remove the original one and replace with a 2gb ram ?
i think p23 is a better choice.. if can upgrade ram hehe

ram is soldered on the motherboard for VAIO P, so no manual upgrade/replace with normal ram.

thats quite pity... how much speed different for 1.86 & 1.6ghz? need to add in rm1k..quite a lot..

the refresh model for VAIO CS is the CS3 itself.

New AW is retailing at RM 10,999.

imho, the refresh VAIO SR is the best and appealing so far i can since it come with an upgrade of decent gpu support.

hello guys vaio released a new one called vaio NR

also vaio fw is shipping with ATI 4650 GC old vaio fw in MSIA with 3470 is having discount a bit.

Have you guys ordered vaio from US?? US models still dont have ati 4650 but I configured mine with core 2 duo P8700 2.53 ghz, 2 gb ram, ati 3650, 160gb hdd, blu ray rom is free upgrade only USD 989. do you its a good deal?

Look like my p13 is going out of date... but good news is that for those who wish to downgrade p13 and p15... xp driver is available in sony asia pacific website. personally i had downgrade my p13 to xp to maximize the spec

theres 2 option,
1. use the recovery disc for new harddisk installed.
2. install new os and install the require drivers when once the os installation done.

i prefer method 2, since its light in term of resources use than the factory setting (recovery disc).
