Just fully charge the battery to 100% and detach from notebook. Will check the result tomorrow.

detach jor...no drain

if inside the laptop sure got drain

So far my Y series don't have any issue. So far so good. I think when I didn't use,better take it out

i think every vaio laptop got the battery draining problem. i dunno whether other brand got this kind of problem or not.

i also hv try that both which is detach the batt from laptop and attach it with laptop. if u detach from laptop, then it will not drain the batt. but if u attach to laptop, it will drain. i hv tested both.

OK, my result as below
- Yesterday 12/04/2010 fully charged 100% at 11pm.
- Today 13/04/2010 12:30pm boot from Stamina Mode, checked 98%. Loss 2% when the battery detach/attach from the system.
- Now 13/04/2010 11:45pm boot from Stamina Mode, checked 96%. Loss another 2% when the battery detach/attach from the system.

My system conclusion - even detach from the system, it will loss 4% per day, is that all the notebook is same ? Or the windows battery meter is inaccurate ?
Or perhaps I do not notice on others notebook ?

thats seem normal, usually its decrease to 97% after load everything till Windows. and theres battery issues with Windows 7 e.g: inaccurate reading etc.

i sense a refresh lineup? maybe with the glossy cf finish for the lid. or sony malaysia so anal not to bring anymore that series only due to low market demand just like they kill the G series.

New Z117 Discontinue ??? So far, not more than 2 months from officially available.....
Maybe no more stock for Malaysia Market.... perhaps make more sales for Z116 ????

Anyway, the Z117 is no more due to shortage stock of i7. even peeps at US having this problem too. no more i7 as for now not until we hear some updates from the Intel dudes.

Sony Style is Sony Direct Store, in the meant time, after you purchase more than RM200, you can entitle the sony style member card, price is nett.
Sony Center is a dealer, you may ask for cash rebate if pay in full (Especially at Low Yat Plaza, range RM50 - RM150)

Low Yat Plaza still got 2 units left for Z117 (Last 2 weeks.....)

PC fair 2010 for S and Z series looks same with normal day....

Sony used to promotion 2-3 times promotion a year, there called themself as "Sony Time Promotion".
Usually the promotion time came with booklet type, all the promotion info provided.
Freebies and offers ? I think it is time to time basis.... unpredictable......

@shinjin : Okay. Maybe I should wait for that...

When i buy my w series 5th april 2010 here in Kuching it also come with free bag that was shown in the advertisement .
So basicly no different buy anytime or at PC fair . The bag is nice . But RM199 is a bit overstated .
Like i said last time , The battery life of W series is really poor , so make sure you can live with that.
