sony S series out aredi ?? i also looking for it. but i only can buy on march when my part time job salary is out. Anyone know roughly the spec ??

is i5 or i3?

i saw the sony website www.sony.com.my aredi put the S series but still dun hv the price yet. im looking for the price rite now. hope that it wont be out of my budget.

is it i3 enuf for me like doin uni assignment, playing dota and doin multi-tasking such as microsoft powerpoint, listening song and browsing??

the S spec i3 + 330M is more then enuf to dish out performance for ur needs

the i5 spec will easily overkills it


hmmmm, but then i saw the SR55 hv 2.53GHz if not mistaken and the new S series only hv 2.13GHz.. is it means 2.53GHz will be better and faster than the 2.13Ghz 1?? i dunno so much bout computer things also.

will the i5 model a lot more expensive than the i3??

yoyoyo... today i went to 1u and search for the S series... There got 2 sony centre so i just go look for S series. But they still dun hv S series yet. I saw Y series in one computer shop but is not in the sony centre.
the price that sony website showing is RM2999 but i ask the guy and he told me the Y series is RM2599( dunno whether i got heard it wrongly or not).

Tomorrow i wan go to timesquare and lowyat see whether got S series aredi or not... wakkakaka... or anyone aredi go search for it ???

dun worry y_owez. you may be will be the first one to get S series. bcoz i only will get it after CNY.
Anyway, now i still thinking of getting which 1 better? the i3 or i5? do u can give me some idea of getting which 1 better?

ermmm, the i3 S series also can support some hardcore games?? 5.3k is high the price... but if the i5 is good then may be i will think of it to get that i5 model. But normally i just use for surfing, do college using microsft word or powerpoint and Dota sometimes.

hey guys, i just back from sg wang. just now went to Lowyat for the VAIO roadshow. They got promotion for the pre-orders for all the laptops. I ask my fren who working for the road show and he say there will be stock available in the middle of this month.

To y_owez : u might be able to get this on 14th of Feb. :D
For S series, both model got rm300 rebate for pre-order. And they just give a laptop bag free only. I like the design very much. much more nicer than the SR55 model. wahahahaha.

i confirm goin to get S series but just after the CNY or may be march. still decidinng goin for i3 or i5.

hmmm, too bad la.. i forget to take the pictures of S series. Play the unit till forget aredi. Yes, im able to play with the display unit. it is not seal in glass case. i cant wait for after CNY la. hehe. The inner there got a bit different with SR series. And i like S series more.

actually i cant let my family know that i buying laptop that is so expensive. so i hv to save my own money to get it. If not, i can take from family and buy 1st. haizzz... sigh... or u can borrow me money first/?? kakakkakaa.....

actually the design quite similar for S and Y series, my fren that work in the Lowyat roadshow said that 10-20 Feb will hv the stock for S series. S series is bout rm 1k expensive than the Y series. So, hv to depend on ur fren's usage. if just normal surf net and do uni assignment, she may be can get Y series. But Y series is using low voltage processor which means the battery can use for longer.

For S series, i3 = now they sell at RM3999 (free 1 bag)
i5 = now they selling at RM4999(free 1 bag)

this promotion till end of this months. my fren work for the roadshow that told me about this.
