Hi guys,

I tried copying some songs into my phone thru a microSD card, but didn't seem to work
I took my mp3s and converted them to AAC using Itunes (couldn't set the baudrate through, setting was not there?), renamed the files to *.MP4

I attached a screenshot of where I put my files in the phone.. but nothing?
or should they have gone into a G:\SD_AUDIO folder instead?

thanks for your help guys biggrin.gif

please try:
in the MUD001 folder as you had attached in previous post, click File>folder option>select the "view" tap>under the "hidden files and folders", un-tick the "hide extensions for know file types">click "ok" to exit.

you might see your file names like "MMF0001.mp4.m4a"

try to rename it to "MMF0001.mp4" (drop the .m4a)

put it back to your Docomo phone lets see how it goes. smile.gif

I have been getting UIM cannot be recognized errors recently on my N905iu.
I think its something to do with the hypersim being sensitive I suppose?

When  I take away the battery cover, the phone seems to work fine but when I close the battery compartment with the cover. I keep on seem to get the UIM read error.
The SIM card is rather close to the cover.... more like touching it.

Any work around for this?

Did you notice any bending marks on the bypass SIM? If there is bending on the circuit, most probably it is damaged.

Besides, when you insert the bypass SIM, make sure it is aligned properly and the bypass SIM doesn't protrude which may cause bending on the edge.

hmm well at least what it looked like, or any labels on the hypersim indicating the name?

I was thinking maybe you had the larger hypersim chip maybe thats why its rubbing, you did cut your sim card right?

It sounds like you might have damaged your hypersim, if you are getting uim error.

Hey, is there any one willing to test my J-phone. I think there's something wrong with the hypersim so could anyone meet up and use their hypersim on my phone?

I would much appreciate it.

i think it is better to transfer the music via MTP mode..all you need is convert the mp3 songs to wma and that's enough..but the problem of the Docomo Sharp phone is having trouble with the MTP mode like blank screen occur..this kind of problem can be solved but i am not sure how..let some other pros to come to teach..

you may refer first page post #5 Tutorial(1) for guides to upload musics in micro SD.
but basically, it will be:
convert songs to AAC (with .m4a extension) with iTunes. now the song format will be in .m4a format.
rename the file name to MOL001, MOL002... etc, rename the extension from .m4a to .mp4
put in the folder as below:
\SD_VIDEO\PRL001\MOL001.MP4

put the card back to phone, try to open it under movie section. you may see the music file in there.

as Alvin mentioned in a few posts up, use MTP mode to sync musics into the phone. then you can play the musics in music player. but by this method you need a USB cable.
