QUOTE(zeucx @ Apr 20 2009, 02:54 PM) so, he cant repair it till now?? hmmm... still wondering... if i dont buy jphone, what regular phone should i buy... Just that you need to send back to Japan for repair. Cost is not cheap (prepare for a few hundred bucks for shipping fees and repair fees (if it is over warranty period [Docomo has their own record even though you don't have warranty card send back, sometimes they will just replace a new one to you). QUOTE(HoshiGami @ Apr 20 2009, 03:53 PM) hey guys.. is 930sh workable in malaysia already? thx Workable as long as you got the right bypass SIM and activated to unlock the media and camera.

QUOTE(lek_e30 @ Apr 20 2009, 10:04 PM) no wonder cant receive thatt particular sms le.... anyone here can suggest how to import the contacts to P906i?? all my contact at my old sim card which cant be use with my v-sim, got to get a replacement card until it compatible with it... Known problem for Docomo P series which can't receive SMS more than 160 characters (you will not know if someone did send you a multiple linked SMS which more than 160 characters in total). Besides, you can't send SMS longer than 160 characters also. You can use vCard method (some vCard creator like Windows Address Book or Outlook can do the job) and copy back through memory card (in the specific folder structure location, might not be the shortest way but it will work. QUOTE(Mr.Ace @ Apr 20 2009, 11:03 PM) guys i need help as a new jphone NTTDoCoMo F906i owner i face a problem in sending text message it says "services unavailable" whenever i tried to send a SMS anyone can help me to resolve this? thanks blush.gif Most probably SIM card compatibility problem. QUOTE(HoshiGami @ Apr 21 2009, 10:18 AM) ok.. i asked the wrong question....i mean is there a workable bypass sim available yet for 930sh? coz i got a friend is very interested to buy a jphone (pink colour). thx Yes there is but most of us here don't have the media unlock solution (at least can't do the activation for the media and camera). QUOTE(lek_e30 @ Apr 21 2009, 10:46 AM) oic... As explained by sonic_cd, vCard is your another option for transferring contacts across electronic devices. This is the standard format widely used. Do note that fields (Example of field: First Name, Last Name) that is not supported on the recipient device will not be save. Docomo phones do accept multiple contacts in a single vCard. You can actually get a PC software for creating single vCard and send it to your Docomo phone. When the phone receive the vCard, it allow you to choose which contacts you would like to save.

QUOTE(zeucx @ Apr 28 2009, 06:18 PM) since sh905i is running symbian os, can we install lots of sortware on it?? if can then that would be great! Not like Nokia. You can install Java compatible apps through i-Mode. As i-Mode not usable here, so indirectly saying you can't add any application to your phone here unless you use Docomo line.

QUOTE(sonic_cd @ Apr 29 2009, 11:57 AM) strangely i followed that guide when i got the so905ics and its works .though i had no need to rename the files . just throw in and update microsd .. That is one of the pros of SO905iCS which you can just throw your files into memory card and inside the phone menu, just use the update management info option (IIRC) to get the phone to do the job for you.

QUOTE(Jr89 @ Apr 29 2009, 04:43 PM) digit code is from 4 digit to 6 or 7 digit lor.... if not u think we all lazy to press if 0000-9999? =D It is from 4 - 8 digits. Anything above 4 digits is quite impossible already as it will take more than a months time to brute force all 5 digits numbers. So hopefully the sec. code is within 4 digits. QUOTE(zeucx @ Apr 29 2009, 04:55 PM) u all so rich... y bothers to do unlocking... vodafone, have u tried it urself?? You mean tried to brute force any docomo phones before? Yes, but is on PDC phones with 4 digits only. A full search from 0000-9999 non stop requires ~72 hours (at my pace). If you are fast and can try continuously, you may complete it in lesser time. The code was 8xxx but I only completed it for a month as no patience to test it continuously. Just want to let you know the circumstances as nowadays all Jphones will have the ability to set 4-8 digits sec. code and for your information. Good luck. QUOTE(zeucx @ Apr 29 2009, 05:07 PM) good to know that... but it is a bad news but what i actually ask u is, have u tried ur anticpr urselves? what is ur experience with it?? then, i would spend my time wisely right now cuz i have to waste it to unlock the phone later.. patience, u must have it when u have no money...--> gonna put it in my siggy when i succeed to unlock the phone... Nope not tested as I don't have any docomo phones with me to test it.

QUOTE(zeucx @ Apr 30 2009, 09:55 AM) so, if the performance is not up to par, can i have my money back?? Well sorry that money back guarantee term doesn't apply. Anyway, anything sales related matter do discuss through PM or on my sales thread instead of using this discussion thread. QUOTE(Zack Styler @ Apr 30 2009, 09:58 AM) You can meet up with bro Voda for some testing session I think.. Yes but it is hard I would say to test it on spot for the anti CPR.

QUOTE(vahn87 @ May 5 2009, 03:20 PM) that particular model cost 3k+ :S hmm, whats the difference between wx-t930 and SH1810C? the look is the same, but the pricing a lil diffent according to vodafone bro thread. Main difference, WX-T930 support GSM/GPRS/EDGE/3G/HSDPA while SH1810C support GSM/GPRS/EDGE. Besides, WX-T930 support Traditional Chinese also. Other than that, not much difference.

QUOTE(Jr89 @ May 8 2009, 11:03 AM) nice info there.. the first column means hour?? shocked that 3G signal are more energy saving This might be due to currently if under purely 3G mode (not auto for 3G/GSM), it could be more energy saving during standby period. My opinion.

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ May 8 2009, 12:41 PM) vodafone, how's your anti-cpr sales? anyway, adding this to boast up your sales. i've been using the anti-cpr for a week, never encounter lost signal / need to restart / whatsoever. very good. the signal will auto gain when i was at the car park. just one thing to add, ermm i experieced lost sms, my friend said she sms me last night, but i did not receive her sms. strange strange. conclusion is, if your daily working life is very much relying on your main line, better do not use it on a docomo. get a decent local cell, the docomo is best to use as backup / fun phone. Hmm difficult to know what is the actual problem on the SMS lost part. Sometimes it might be cause by the network transmission error. Anyway, does newer SMS than the one you lost receive normally? By the way, did your friend send linked SMS to you? (More than 160 characters). Thanks for the feedback. This post has been edited by vodafone: May 8 2009, 03:19 PM
