Did you choose Compose New SMS Message instead of Compose New Message?

Known problem for Docomo P series which can't receive SMS more than 160 characters (you will not know if someone did send you a multiple linked SMS which more than 160 characters in total). Besides, you can't send SMS longer than 160 characters also.

You can use vCard method (some vCard creator like Windows Address Book or Outlook can do the job) and copy back through memory card (in the specific folder structure location, might not be the shortest way but it will work.

Most probably SIM card compatibility problem. Try to change to another SIM card to confirm.

Yes there is but most of us here don't have the media unlock solution (at least can't do the activation for the media and camera).



As explained by sonic_cd, vCard is your another option for transferring contacts across electronic devices. This is the standard format widely used. Do note that fields (Example of field: First Name, Last Name) that is not supported on the recipient device will not be save.

Docomo phones do accept multiple contacts in a single vCard. You can actually get a PC software for creating single vCard and send it to your Docomo phone. When the phone receive the vCard, it allow you to choose which contacts you would like to save.

Certain files as to what I tried last time. vCard is allow for send/receive under infra.

Not like Nokia. You can install Java compatible apps through i-Mode. As i-Mode not usable here, so indirectly saying you can't add any application to your phone here unless you use Docomo line.

That is one of the pros of SO905iCS which you can just throw your files into memory card and inside the phone menu, just use the update management info option (IIRC) to get the phone to do the job for you.

Not sure the performance as no user yet as just got back the replacement.

It is from 4 - 8 digits. Anything above 4 digits is quite impossible already as it will take more than a months time to brute force all 5 digits numbers.

So hopefully the sec. code is within 4 digits.

You mean tried to brute force any docomo phones before?

Yes, but is on PDC phones with 4 digits only. A full search from 0000-9999 non stop requires ~72 hours (at my pace). If you are fast and can try continuously, you may complete it in lesser time. The code was 8xxx but I only completed it for a month as no patience to test it continuously.

Just want to let you know the circumstances as nowadays all Jphones will have the ability to set 4-8 digits sec. code and for your information.

Anyway, if you still didn't get package, try to check it online and see what is the status or call their hotline.

Hmm, previously you experience signal out on that spot and can't recover back?

Main difference, WX-T930 support GSM/GPRS/EDGE/3G/HSDPA while SH1810C support GSM/GPRS/EDGE.

Besides, WX-T930 support Traditional Chinese also. Other than that, not much difference.

Not sure Celcom is the same as Maxis, if you're using postpaid, then it is free of charge or RM25 for prepaid.

This might be due to currently if under purely 3G mode (not auto for 3G/GSM), it could be more energy saving during standby period. My opinion.

Hmm difficult to know what is the actual problem on the SMS lost part. Sometimes it might be cause by the network transmission error. Anyway, does newer SMS than the one you lost receive normally?

By the way, did your friend send linked SMS to you? (More than 160 characters).
