Hi all,

Do anyone encounter cps engine cannot start? I read many forum saying that proton produce lousy fuel pump and always faulty! Happen to my family Exora yesterday during CNY cannot start the engine more than half tank. TomOrrow have to cal insurance towing to proton SC. Anyway, the car only 20k km mileage and 18 months used...

My question is How can new car face this kind of issue! Really no confident of buying proton!

Anyone encounter this before? What is the actual cause of problem? I called SC supervisor and he ask me first question is the rpm gone up to 7km rpm? Basically no answer believe this is one of default in Exora....

Sorry to hear abt ur problems, I wouldn't say proton is producing lousy car nowadays compared to what happened to Waja and Gen2 previously but there are certainly room for improvements.

Get the SC to check the ignition coil, it could be that...

Cheers

i dont think changing the alarm is advisable if you care about the warranty.

That was pretty good. Thanks for you valuable info. Any regret getting MT instead of AT?

just got my car on 3rd Feb. just done 1000km. driving experience was fun. the only problem i encountered was suddenly my car cannot start. this was rectified after numerous attempt on troubleshooting it. i think is the battery problem. not tightened. will get my sc to confirm. hope is just that. other than that is the alignment will move towards left abit.

Just serviced my car. no oil leakage... Unless they take a snapshot of the picture, I still think is just some people attempt to tarnish the name...

Try reading through the first few pages of this thread. I remember seeing some guidelines being posted.
