hey guy, i downloaded many java software n install to my phone. SUDDENLY i open my installation folder, all my old installed software gone. donno go where. checked in the application manager folder, those old file still appear there. but why disappear in my installation folder har? my god!

u install in memory card or phone? did u recently unplug ur memory? it seem like a bug in e71.. i got tis problem as well if i unplug my memory card from my phone..after reinsert the memory card.. the phone dont recognize the installed software anymore..

Added on April 21, 2009, 11:01 pmi m using edge on my e71.. smooth sailing all the way.. no hiccup at all.. sometimes even faster than my friend who is on 3g.. hahaha.. the speed is good enough for internet radia, video streaming from youtube(no lag), msn, web surfing.. very nice.. even now typing on the phone using edge..

Anybody know how to test 2nd camera? I'm trying to make video call but suddenly pop up error not support video calls.

This phone does not have the option to utilise the front camera. The only way is to insert a maxis/celcom sim where 3G is activated & then call someone who also have a phone & sim that supports 3G/video call.

Hi, I would like to know is it normal to have two 'dictionary' icons? I can't remember it being like this when I first used the phone. One icon has ABC logo. The other has a chinese word. The latter cannot be executed as it says 'word database not found'

I have that problem too. I just leave it there since it does no harm. Can only open the English one only. The other 1 i get the same error as u

the chinese dictionary thiggy come by default along with the asian firmware. As i dont hav it since i m usin europe firmware. In order to get it to work, go to nokia download site ,search under language tab to download the chinese dictionary database. But i dont c the point here since the default english dictionary is already a multilanguages dictionary..jus requiring u to download the language u wanted. For me i personally downloaded chinese and indonesia. Work jus fine..

is the new garmin tutorial link hard to follow?looks the same to me..

i had the same prob with the default installed applications like MSN live Messenger and Solitaire. Fortunately, i alrd back up the java app.

just a question here, how to backup those applications alrd. anybody knows which folders this app belong to? thanks

go download camera fx. with tis software u will be able to utilize ur front camera..

Guys, i have been download Garmin and some maps but maps doesn't appear? Why have been like that?

i have 2 icons too. one for chinese another for english. However, both icons i can open.

I have problem at here, i'm using Garmin GPS with built in GPS receiver. But unfortunately mine GPS doesn't have signal. Isn't my device problem?

dude tat pic is a n96.. should hav signal ma.. since in the pic the signal is 3 bar.. should be ok.. one thing for sure is tat.. e71 dont work tat well inside building.. try give it a try outside building .. for instance in ur car..
