Salutations....

They say the processor is somewhat similar to Atom only s-l-i-g-h-t faster.

The heat maybe 'cause the designer didn't think through the climate in SEAsia....

i got a feeling that you are experiencing is actually the stupid windows update thingy? I notice if you have a single core, this task which happens once in awhile, pushes the cpu usage to a constant 100% and making your laptop response rediculously slow. I notice this on my old desktop and laptop, both running old single core cpu.

Anyone notice this? I usually leave it alone and it'll get back to normal.

oh...actually...i have no idea why i never surf the net on this issue...and it seems that there was issue from microsoft windows update on the svchost.exe causing the computer to run 100% usage...yes..yes...i remember this happened once for both my computer over a period and it has not happened again. I guess there was a fix windows downloaded and installed itself.

The FACT is, HP is the first brand to use the AMD NEO processor. Sort of like the user who bought PROTON car with the first Campro engine...Nobody knows the pros and cons yet, so the user of the HP DV2 should be the first one to know...just so unlucky for them if got problem.

amd cpu + dedicated gpu + a 12.1 inches laptop = water boiler LOL
but from what i read somewhere over the net, the reviewer said the cpu heat is improved, doesnt produce as much heat as the predecessor. well you're right, heat issues of laptop are very common nowadays. if you dont really need the performance, try to underclock the gpu, so it wont produce extra heat

Err NO.

If you have heat problems, FLASH YOUR BIOS TO THE NEWEST REVISION F05.

if this CnQ-enabling same as Turion X2 steps, on windows XP, you need to install AMD processor driver (can be download from amd website)

and go to Power Option -> Minimal Power Management
