Yea I know naked looks executive and beautiful.. But Im too paranoid on thinking of the scratches that the environment will do to my macbook.. =( So I just get the Speck ST and use it till it wears off I guess before using it naked =D

And I hate those invisible shield and stuff as I had bad experience with them before... So thats the only solution for me..

Ummm it depends on you which one do you prefer...

1) Invi shield - it will look almost like the original naked look as its just like a transparent protector covering your MBP... But for me I wouldnt like it as I had a bad experience with it on my iPhone.. Summary of bad exp = turns yellow (if you can see cause my iphone white can see it), edges will stuck with dust (after long term) and makes it ugly, applying it will be a bit more hassle (have to spray some liquid and leave your MBP to dry 24 hours)

2) Incase hardshell - Looks nice as you can choose the colours if you dont like the alu look. But it might get scratches and can be obvious under lighting conditions (depends on the colour you pick some will be more obvious) At least it protects you more in terms of impact as its a layer of hard plastic-like casing compared to invis shield... Never had one before but that is what I see from my friends macbook...

So up to you =D You could consider other softer texture like feeling as hardshell is plastic-like feel. Incipio and satin see thru have the soft satin-like feel

If its the hardshell plastic-like material, it will definitely get scratches (like plastic tupperware get scratches after frictions with surfaces). Im not sure which is better as Ive so far only felt speck before and it looks nice to me already =D Maybe you can try to search any incase casing in LYN/apple retailers and compare?

Just take your MBP and treat is as glass object and dont break it... Then no need casing also nvm d.. Haha.. But of course the casing will definitely protect it in case some accidental incident happen =D

Haha.. Then casing should be the best option but you will have to clean the casing once a week maybe? Or try getting a sleeve to protect the outside and inside get a moshi palmguard or other guards..

Wah serious ar.. I also ordered from xavinlyn... =.= But should be ok since Im staying in Penang and wouldnt wanna go till KL paying all the tolls and petrol just for extra RM20-30 =D

@mememe12 no worries its still worth it compared to going down unless you often go down KL =D

Oh... You cant count that way I guess... Shipping and maybe additional tax may occur.. So basically its almost RM100 already... If you need it better get it at 1 utama or get it from garage sales =D Faster and much more hassle free...

Oh btw got my black speck see thru satin and my moshi palmguard.. So far already fix my speck and im liking the texture and looks =D (especially the apple logo glows purple after the mixture of black and white =D

It seems like epicentre has products that other apple retailers doenst have.... Just wondering if all the retailers brings in a standardized type of products like all bringing in moshipalmguard, IS etc?

@ironrashid I think many backpacks are waterproof.. Maybe you can look for those for sports like nike/adidas/etc im sure they are waterproof...

If I on my backlight for my MBP it seems the holes between the keys are quite big and dust can easily make its way into the keyboard... Or does it look big but shouldnt be a problem for dusts? Just wondering..

There is a simple solution, just get a backpack which is non water proof, then at the same time get another water proff backpack cover for it. Im sure those selling camping stuff will have that type of cover...
