The bulkiness of the case is tolerable, I'm having one on right now.
My previous MBP got scratched because it doesn't have a case

my point of view:

it will increase the temp slightly since the heat only focus at the back. and, it will get your notebook some scratch too.
the trackpad? which one? if its moshi, i dislike the texture to be trackpad. i leave it as it is.

i rather leave it naked, unless you are an ocd type of person.

With use on my new macbook air

Moshi keyboard protector, feel very nice eventhough quite expensive, cutting also fit Nice

Also bought the speck see thru, plastic hard cover to prevent my mba get scratch..

Eh wait, what do mean with "it will get your notebook some scratch too."?

Please advice.

I am surprised the local stores do not sell any Incase Hardshell for MBP. I have bought it from Apple Online Store few months ago.. I can assure that the quality is definitely superior than Speck and it fits like a gloves. Only thing is that the top case is a bit difficult to remove.. I will try to upload few pictures later.. It's a really nice case. Speaking from a Speck and Incase owner.

Just ensure that no dirt/small particle trap inside after long use, and also the case is fit nicely without gap.
Some fellas from macrumors feedback with the scratches..

A scratched apple product with many scars means it survived many battlefield and still surviving, shud be proud of it =)

I am looking for a sleeve which can contain my MBA well and light enough to be unnoticeable while carrying.
