My take is, the longer the upswing holds.. the bigger the correction will be when it eventually comes... hence I prefer small pockets of profit taking which the market can absorb well rather than a huge correction where everyone start sweating blood.

With that scenario firmly entrenched in my mind... I say TP now and sit out and wait. Stop that itchy finger to press BUY... no matter how lucrative it looks. Easier said than done.. I have done just that.. sold all my positions last Friday and Monday.. but took up positions again yestd.. think I will offload all with some pocket money and sit out and wait.

I want a major correction!!!! Becoz I sai lang all yestd.. .

Index pointing north for a few days liao.... on what? A 2 day correction of 10-15pts could be quite healthy.. support at 937 if proven to be VERY strong we can see another good upsurge.. otherwise.. we can all bungkus and go back to sleep until our stocks in CDS fat-mou...

waiyo.. now we are in a quandry... as our DPM understanding of TAK MENGHARGAI does not equal to err.. Ungrateful... sai lang means all shares IN.. we bet with KLSE lo... we dun sai lang cash.. LOL..

The way it is going, when the correction comes it will be a pretty hard one... under this circumstance, any blind man just pick on any stock will also make money. Sooner or later, someone is going to get burnt real bad... just be wary.

Footnote: Next round of SAAG... I intend to buy when it hit 20-21sen and average down from there if need to. So far, I do not have to hold for too long.. maybe I was lucky. Hopefully luck holds out.

cherroy, the increase last few days is like across the board... except for some dotted high caps... erm.. just to illustrate a point, if you are in Bangsar one saturday evening, you toss a coin up skywards, the chances of it landing on the head of a millionaire is VERY high... same goes to our stock market today.. its peppered with penny stocks, it will take a very unlucky blind man to pick a high cap quality stock.

hehe.. okay.. okay.. sorry la. .me still old school.. old lots... still not used in talking using new lot terminology... couple of years back, made the mistake told my broker Gamuda 5 lots! waaaa.. so happy see it go up.. then when get contract note.. NIAMAH!!! 500 shares... I called her up and asked WHY?? WHY?? WHY?? she say .. u say 5 lot ma... 500 lor.. I betui betui bang balls... from that day onwards, I trade online...

On the hindsight, the market always preceed the economy by about 6 months... so if the market holds its north bound course, then we can be assured that our economy will recover in due course... sort of a glimmer of hope.

Having said that, I remembered when DJIA was at about 8000 after it rebounded from 7000 sometime late last year, there were people proclaiming that we have seen the worst.. so say someone fr pretty high up in a respectable bank in Malaysia... only to see DJIA slumped on the weight of further foreclosures and slipped below 7000 a couple of months back. So I am holding my breath to really see if we are really out of the woods. After all, another respectable bank in Malaysia also said that KLCI will see 600+ in the middle of the year..

I think today we do not forsee 600.. but if you make that kind of statement in January/February.... I think it looked pretty real that it may just happen as the economy is just like a black hole.. sucking up every penny thrown at it.

After yestd's retail numbers in US, I am still doubtful if we are really out of the woods. My company's numbers can attest to it that a lower than expected drop in March may not mean a lower than expected drop in April.. we shall see. My eyes have been fixed anxiously on the numbers... at mid month, we are far from achieving lower than expected drop....

hehehe.. looks like LYN stock vultures are busy yakking here than watching the market...

And I think the market is reacting at the moment... but news over the next two months will be crucial... it will show if the stimulus packages worth trillions work or merely down the drain.
