Actually, it's debark...and yes, it's very cruel. Plus, what's the use of a barkless guard dog if he can't bark to alert you of strangers? Kind of defeats the purpose,no?

My dog, pomeranian always non-stop bark in the midnight, 2-3am.. No matter how i scold and bit it, it still the same..
It only stop barking when i come down from my room, once i off the living room light (it sleep in cage at living room) and go back to my room, then it start to bark AGAIN.

Someone told me tat just let it bark and it will stop after awhile, coz it know tat no matter how, owner oso wont "choi" it. But it is quite annoying since it bark in the midnight, the next day my family and i still need to work  cry.gif

I duno whether it wan to sleep with me, coz sometimes i cant tahan it, then will bring it to my room. Then... it STOP barking.
Anyone can help me to solve tis problem? Thanks  notworthy.gif

Reading your post sounds like your dog is a pup, but then reading further on, she's already 1 year plus? How long has she been with you? Has she been with you since she was a puppy, or you have only just recently adopted her?

If she has just been recently adopted, probably she's not used to your house just yet...however, if she has been with you since her puppy days, maybe there is something she is trying to alert you of? Perhaps there's a rat or something near the place where she sleeps? My dogs sleep downstairs as well, and they bark a lot when they hear funny sounds (like cars / motorcycles late at night, etc)

You could also teach your dog the 'Quiet' command....here's a link as an example to help you to do that: http://www.dogtrainingbasics.com/BARKING.htm
There are also other training methods to teach your dog to be quiet. Google them to find out smile.gif

Some dogs do it just because they like to bark...you can train your dog the Quiet command too if you want him to be quiet when told smile.gif It's good that he would bark, but you can just let him bark for a while, then tell him Quiet. That way, he knows that it's good to bark to alert you and your family, but there's a limit smile.gif

What is play pen?  hmm.gif

This is what a playpen looks like:

Most pet stores have it, I think...they sell it for about RM16-20 per piece. A whole playpen is made from as many pieces as we like...for your Pom, since it's a small breed, you can use 3-4 pieces smile.gif

Oh.. im thinking to buy it before, just scare tat my dog will push it here n there  tongue.gif

Your Pom is so small, he can't push it around...smile.gif I have a Chihuahua at home, and although he tries to push whenever he's bored, he couldn't make it move. smile.gif Unless your dog is a really huge dog, the play pen works fine...I've had the play pen since Scottie (my Min. Schnauzer) and Kenji inside since they were little, and has had no problems with it at all...way way better than caging the dog smile.gif

Do you know how to get to NZX from Subang? I hear it's quite near Subang, but I'm not sure because I'm not from Subang...NZX has a pet store called FLUFF. They carry play pens too smile.gif Directions

PUT DOWN TO SLEEP! EUTHANISE!!!  drool.gif

First you're asking people to send the pets to your 'beloved' shop to pamper them...and now you tell people to euthanize their pets?! Get a life, dude. rolleyes.gif In case you didn't notice, your post count didn't go up by spamming other people's threads. shakehead.gif

Some things are not meant to be joked at, if you don't know. Time for you to learn some tact.

I don't really need to justify my grooming skills to you, thank you very much...how long have you been caring for a dog anyways? Do you even OWN a dog?
