Now with bigger budget, a better guitar will do you good. Ibanez RG321 is one of the example, as it's under RM 1.5k. You can even save more if you get them second hand, but yeah, I believe you want a new unit because of warranty.
Also about Zoom 2.1u, it came with USB connection, so you further mess around with them using PC. Not to forget, dirt cheap.
