Sounds pretty promising... I might change to that kind of SP once I bash up my Skool SP

Btw I got Sygic McGuider v7.60 (for s60v3) and v7.71 (for s60v5 and more specifically for Nokia 5800). I also have the Malaysia/Singapore map for it. I also got the instructions how to install it...

My brother today let me play with his iphone.... I still prefer resistive touch screen than capacitive. maybe because I can feel more 'feedback' like I am really touching something... another thing is that the qwerty keyboard works only in portrait mode rclxub.gif

Difficult lei..

The best price for Ori we have seen here is RM1280.

I think RM1.1 not so worth it... you don't know if the owner drop before.. etc

But if RM1k then its okay la...

Every new thread version I will have a big contribution to my fellow tubians. So here is mine to celebrate the opening on V13...

iPhonesque mod for s60 web browser (Improved web browsing experience on the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic)

Have you ever used an iPhone and noticed the difference with your tube on how the web browser is displayed? Have you ever wished you could customize your tube to display your web pages like a normal web browser? Now you can!

Here is some screenshots:

user posted image

user posted image

First = Original Nokia 5800
Second = iPhone
Third = Mozilla Firefox / Windows XP shocking.gif

Yes you can actually browse your web pages like a normal web browser using your default web browser that comes with the phone.
To download the files and instructions on how to do it.... go to my website at:
http://knowmorestuff.com/on/iphonesque-mod...60-web-browser/

Note: Some websites will not work because they use a different method to identify your browser. A good example is Youtube. No matter what mode we use, it will still show to mobile version

And secondly:

PhoNetInfo - display your phone's info

Screenshots:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Download
(Please use this NEW download link because my rapidshare account has expired and the files will be deleted. From now on I will be uploading to mediafire because their download speed for Malaysia/Singapore is very fast and stable not like rapidshare dry.gif )

good job j slade...but if i chng the UA,will browsing the net be faster or wil it jz change the way we browse the net?
*
actually to be honest it will load slower (because you are getting the FULL website like how you surf on Firefox/IE)... but if you're using your own home wifi then shldn't be a problem.

the advantage is that you get to view the page properly and not distorted/less info mobile version

@ jonwei

I got this from a website somewhere

QUOTE
It's simple: yahoo.com accounts need Premium Plus (2$/month) to access POP3.
yahoo.co.uk has POP3 free. So if you want POP3 free, register with yahoo.co.uk. That's what I did.
Hope this helps,

I suppose jonwei your yahoo is yahoo.co.uk?

I've installed Garmin on my aunt's Nokia 6110 Navigator and it seems that the Integrated GPS in Nokia Navigator phones are much better than the tube. The signal lock very fast its just 3 seconds and always sure can get in 3 seconds. The tracking is more accurate also.
Also strangely when I installed Garmin on her phone I didn't have to do soft reset. The certificate expired error didn't come up...

The only downfall of the 6110 compared to the tube is the screen size kinda small. The tube can almost compare with a Garmin Nuvi icon_idea.gif

*edit*
Eh I just realized my name on the title... shy la blush.gif
notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

btw can someone confirm if there is a firmware update because this guy just uploaded a video on v21.0.0.21

Don't know why suddenly in v13 the hype for Invisible Shield suddenly come up... I don't know you guys aware or not that IS is very rubbery and it makes it very hard to scroll using the tube. And also it takes a real pro to stick the full body because guarantee there will be dust trapped in between...

Anyway the dev cert thing I was just wondering if it is legal or not to get your own dev cert? hmm.gif

the files name is different for v20?what am i suppose to do?rename it?
*
if u download the premade fonts given by those forums... just rename them to the 3 names which i put in the guide above. in v11 they use the 4 files

- s60snr.ttf
- s60ssb.ttf
- s60tsb.ttf
- S60ZDIGI.ttf

but in v20 they only use 3

- s60sc_c.ttf
- s60tchk_c.ttf
- S60ZDIGI.ttf

You can use your own custom font.. a good website I recommend to find free fonts is
http://www.dafont.com/

banyak for you to download thumbup.gif

It doesn't seem to work on my Neuropol font tho.. the font totally disappear in the menu.
