QUOTE(Choongster @ Apr 20 2009, 09:28 PM) i just installed the invisible shields by zagg and now my phone has super grip. downfall, even handwriting has the "grip" therefore no more smooth writing ...sometimes u just can't have all of the good things Best thing to do... use normal screen protector for the screen but use Invisible Shield for the rest of the body. Thats how you have all the good things |

QUOTE(icechiller555 @ Apr 21 2009, 11:13 AM) J-Slade, I heard... lol why the rush man? The next firmware after this one is gonna come a few months later. So yeah...You heard about the new firmware? Gonna change product code and get it? But then our warranty gets voided might as well just wait till it comes out for all regions.. you'll have all the luxury time to update in the months to come. here is a changelog provided by one of the HK tube users: * You can set up breathing lights (intervals and which things they should let you know) (missed calls - new sms - new e-mail) * The screen reacts faster and is more correct * The xpress music thing is colored red again in default theme * You can edit the music tracks and delete them * Browsing is way faster and wifi also * Icons look a big bigger than before * You only have 3 font size options (before you have like 4 or more) * The icons have changed a bit (sms icons look more E-series like.) not big of a deal of u ask me This post has been edited by J-Slade: Apr 21 2009, 11:22 AM |

QUOTE(204 @ Apr 21 2009, 03:17 PM) I think the video was being done in straight animation and not demo from actual OS. Just like the N97 demo clip by nokia.. when rotate the widget and clock all rotate on thier own animating(like the image rotate in Photo browser from beta lab) but actual one? just blink out and blink in... the keyboard is not even highlighting when the fella type.. You are absolutely right. These kind of demo videos are done with still images which are sent by Nokia to the production house. I can tell originally they had wanted to have emoticons but I guess it was removed in the final stage due to the "no emoticons on Symbian s60"..but that means initially they were going to have emoticon on the keypad.. but took out on production.. I hope 3rd party apps like iFree-sms will have emoticons in future. |

I still prefer LYN Tube Alliance because its more exclusive... I don't think any other malaysian forum has as strong a tube community as ours. The next biggest tube community I know is hardwarezone singapore

btw after giving it much thought... I know why we should stick to LYN Tube Alliance. because of its exclusiveness....
when I show my friend (who has a tube) and I have the LTA logo, it becomes kind of special because other malaysians are just normal tube users but we are DIFFERENT. however if we put malaysian tube alliance... who are we going to show? its not like i got friends from other countries with a tube (most of them have more expensive phones)... and there is no exclusiveness... @ antho1
I suggest you change your sig before it gets nuked.. thats more than 15 lines btw if you guys havent tried out myPhone (the iPhone simulator for s60v5 phones), u should. The latest version has reduced the lag. but honestly if u ask me, i think its better to install the iPhone dark theme by DSMA. On another note: Someone is selling Avaxx set Nokia 5800 for only RM1150 http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1006237/+0entry25309557 Has the price dropped so fast? |

QUOTE(JackAssUncletan @ Apr 22 2009, 01:49 AM) Hi all, Oh of course there is such software.. this is the specialty of Symbian phones. Try to find this app called KillerMobile Black BallerNeed help... anyone got blacklist software for 5800xm? i need it... getting a call for almost everyday from a number and when i answer no one speaks up and when i dont answer the fella keep calling. I called DIGI as i am a DIGI user but they can't help. Anyone got the blacklist software please do let me know or share it out with me. There's alot when i google for it but dunno trustable websites or not. Regards, Uncletan http://www.killermobile.com/newsite/mobile...0-blacklist.htm QUOTE(gamenoob @ Apr 22 2009, 07:51 AM) For those that complain about light leakage....I think that is a bit of nit picking! Granted a well formed injected plastic parts should fit tight and nice, light leakage may not be visible but if the original mould does not have overlapping groove, the light leakage is unavoidable! Then again, its really not an issues on the performances..... however asking NCC to replace those cover etc etc will only introduce more "loose" casing syndrome. It will still be there unless Nokia replace the entire global mould housing and design which is unlikely........ Haha this is what I have been trying to tell everyone. That the light leakage is not really an issue but I don't know why is everyone so nit picky about the problem. In fact all the tube in the world looks the same. In fact lets do a comparison during the gathering and I will prove that actually it is normal to have the gap at the side there.A lot of these parts are assembled and screw on with a specific torque at the factory. Service center usually do not have such resources, tools, to follow factory blue print! If you only have light leakage and worry about it... my suggestion don't! |
