FYI. Another announcement update from p1w1max official site:

Dear Valued Customer,
Kindly be informed that P1 W1MAX will be performing network upgrade activities on April 9, 2009 from 3 AM to 8 AM. During this period, you may experience service interruption. P1 W1MAX apologizes for any inconvenience caused.

Dear Valued Subscribers,
We have received feedback from customers of intermittent service interruptions in this past week. Regrettably, the fault is attributed to lightning that struck several of our base stations during the recent thunderstorm. The rectification process is well in place and should be completed in phases with customers experiencing service improvements within 72 hours. Additionally, we have been carrying out a lot of upgrading work recently to further improve our network’s resiliency and overall performance to serve you better.

Once again, we regret any inconveniences and thank you.

8:30 AM - Lots of sites have problem loading (Facebook, Slashdot, Digg). All getting network timeouts. But I don't really believe it's the sites fault.

Lowyat is okay though.

i think the network upgrade that P1 did this morning solved the connection speed problem that we faced recently. around 8am i did a couple speedtest and it was clocking at 1.2Mbps - 1.3Mbps.

uihh....last time i cucuk and checked the network connection settings it showed NAT3...I cucuk my P1 directly to my PS3 too...have to try and check later today.

I don't think there's any problem connecting to PSN Store with any kind of NAT...I'm NAT3 but I could go to PSN Store just fine
