just got back from sunway maxis centre and this is what i experienced.

NOTE : they do NOT allow you to apply for HYC. i tried porting my digi number to maxis.
i enquired and asked if it is possible for me to get the HYC plan but the lady at the counter said i can only get it by buying the HYC simpacks.
damn! i waited so long for my turn and i get this.
besides, she tought i wanted to change to hotlink so she terus port me to hotlink.
end up i need pay RM10 for the sim card.
with digi i had 1 year validity. now with hotlink, the validity is lesser.
sh!t happens.

the conclusion is... MAXSHIT.. S*CK!!!

although i using maxis as my main no, but i never satisfy with their service... always got problem... i use it just becoz lot of my frenz using it

this hotlink plan really good but service provided and workers knowledge on HYC = not good at all -.-

yea agree with u they sud really buckle up on the training for their staffs especially the customer service!
their knowledge is even lower than mine!! 

next time be smart and dont call their customer service..
really bad service plus they will charge u..

i tell u. u call them see your luck. either u get a well-informed staff or a dumb one who knows nuts about hotlink. good luck.

from now on, anybody ages between 13-25 can register for HYC. no need to show student ID. i heard about it from Era radio yesterday!

I have no idea. She told me that it was a requirement. It is rather funny how different CSO tell their customers different things. Geez.
I'm still waiting for her call.

why i reg for my sister they din ask for IC or student ID?
just show them sms from my sis about her details (full name, IC no and addres)
after 2 housr, her HYC already activated!

this is the latest info! i called Hotlink n talked to one of the CS for almost an hour about this HYC..important note is : if u wanna port in to HYC from other Telco such as Digi or Celcom u must 1st port in to Hotlink Extra Plan n then onli u can migrate ur Extra Plan to HYC..n another note is if u r currently a Hotlink User subscribed to Hotlink 365 (1year validity) plan u r not allowed to migrate ur plan to HYC! this has wat happened to me cuz im subscribed to Hotlink 365 n u hv to wait until ur 365 contract is over before u can migrate ur plan to HYC..so im planning to port in my Digi number to Hotlink n then migrate my plan to HYC..hope this will clear everyone's mind

well if this time the CS tells me the wrong info again then i hv ntg to say since i hv talked to him on the phone for so long n he seems quite knowledgeable..u manage to migrate ur plan from Hotlink 365 to HYC? hmm lets c if i can successfully port in 

Jesus Christ... *facepalm*. It seems that different CSO's offers different level of leniency.. Aspire managed to switch from 365 to HYC but not Anson. Next time when the call is made for the switch, pray to god that a kind CSO will pick up your call.

case 1) convert from normal hotlink to HYC before 31 may... (done @ maxis HYC authorized dealer serdang, UPM)

case 2) MNP from celcom prepaid (013) to HYC after 31 may... (done @ maxis HYC authorized dealer alpha angle wangsa maju)

case 3
my father was on normal hotlink number (012) which previously own by me (already change to his name last year) which i registered for campus zone a long time ago got automatically converted to HYC before 31 may.....huhu..
conclusion: auto convert from normal hotlink campus zone to HYC

case 4
my mom also on 365 hotlink (012)....changed the registration under my sister's name (who is a student), & then submitted details (name,ic&student id) to one forummer here, got converted to HYC & hers validity till 2014...
conclusion: converted from 365 hotlink to HYC by a forummer here (after 31 may)

case 5
my bro who is 15 years old was on normal hotlink (012), ported in to DIGI prepaid (he's using it now about 2 weeks already)....now awaiting me to bring him to maxis centre to port in back to maxis HYC....
conclusion: still on progress becoz i had no time to bring him to maxis centre..

my sister is on maxis postpaid been told she need to wait 6 month before converting it back to prepaid...still have a month to go...
conclusion: wait till the the end of next month & try to convert to HYC

haha....end of my master plan of HYC family....

I just got a leaflet about the new DiGi campus~ Really competitive rates with free SMS and free calls.  Maybe then HYC won't be so strict about their regulations anymore. IMO, really light users would still be better off with HYC.

I thought i already changed to hotlink youth club, with the expiration date till 2013, but suddenly it change back to normal plan again, wtf hotlink.

ure really unlucky. RM20? gosh. with their new call rates, that translate to 166 minutes calls to maxis .

even if they abolish (which i really doubt that they will do), we can still enjoy this plan and the rates right??

I went to 2 maxis centres and all the staffs told me the HYC promotion has ended. Then i went home and called 1300820120 and asked the operator to change my phone number to HYC.

the operator took down my details (name, IC number, hp number, and student ID) and then he said my call plan will be ported to HYC in 7 working days. then now ported alrdy.

call using house phone..
cheaper..
