1)windows version diff
2)gc driver version diff
3)ur proc no got L3 cache
4)proc ht-link speed is far diff

u got much better clock . bandwidth and fillrate then xiukeong gc.....plz understand it...try update ur gc driver and push ur proc with lower mutlipier + a big higher htt until the ht link hit bout 1500mhz...then run the 3d mark ...sure u got better score

Alright, just now I run another round of 3dmark and get pass 10300 score.

But I press something wrong and it hang and need to restart.

Now I'm going to update latest driver and give it another run.

sifus, i need help here.. im migrating from my Old yet faithful Athlon X2 5000+ BE to a Phenom II X3 720.. this is my current pc configuration:-

Athlon X2 5000+ BE@3.0ghz
Biostar TA780G M2+
OCZ Reaper PC6400
2x250gb SATA HDD
FSP Bluestorm II 500W
9800GTX+ 55nm running on stock clock
3x120mm fan
A dvdrw rom

with this current spec my PSU didnt encounter any hiccup either on benching nor gaming, but wut worries me is "Can a 500W which rated 80% efficiency by FSP provide enuf juice for stock clock Phenom II X3 720"?I might as well overclocking it after getting a better PSU if budget permits =(

Can lah no prob, Phenom II's uses less watt from the old Phenom.. 500W true power is more than enuff, even my rig on oc mode just uses 3xx watt.. Don't worry, u don't need a new PSU..

yup, my mobo does support up to phenom II 925 which stated on their website.. but since im getting a ph II 720 i might as well buy a better mobo with good OC capability too;D

imo d quality setting is d main killer bro, followed by diff in os (we're talkin bout few hundreds points discount here) then only d slight advantage of havin newer architecture.

Don't go buying that mobo 1st ler, try see how the performance 1st with ur current mobo.. See how high u can go on o/c..
If ur still unsatisfied then, by all means buy a new mobo ler

2. 790fxb is not d board u'd run ya x3 720B.E if u die die must enable d 4th core, jr 790gx would be a better choice (d best if u exclude a$u$ top tier boards)
