wat u mean by "but where"?

u can js google the official webby for mroe info, UD5P is 790FX chipset ,while UD4 model is GA-MA790X-UD4 i thk..
it was not 790FX, only 790x chipset, wat is their diff? check my post in few page ago, or u can always js google bout the chipset..

the line up:
790FX > 790X > 790GX

so far oni saw DS series board's result frm giga, its consider good, but not as good as DFI FXB board,
coz it DS series is oni 790GX chipset..

other UD series frm GIGA i nvr seen here b4, so i cnt ans ur ques, u gotto google by ur own.
but i belive their UD series sure very good in performance, especially MA790FX UD5P

mayb u can js pick FXB, its can do a good job for u,

actually i belive their performance not far away frm ASUS high-ended product

bout the batch is to noe for this chip good in unlocked the 4th core o nt, and the OC'bility of this chip, normally same batch chip may hv same ablility,
but it is still depend on ur own luck.. in the same batch there is still got diff among em..

yeah x3 720BE can mayb can unlocked to x4; while x4 810 is js a normal verison chip(non-BE).

well, its still depend on ur own which 1 u like, thy gv diff cache size.

and the locked core for x3 may not so good in condition, if u able to unlocked it, js assume it as a bonus core for ur own,
do not espect too much frm the 4th core, coz its hard to get prime stable at higher clock. even some fail at stock clock..

so its depend on ur own luck actually..

for me i will go for the cheaper 1.. (poor ppl maa )

yeah, CnQ is build for energy saving when our rig is idle it will auto downclock it..

my chip lowest goes to x5, mean 1GHz



1.136v 1.0GHz run at oni 27W only instead of 3.0GHz at 125W

save up 78.4% of wattage when idle

vy slow for sure.. coz in CnQ it will clock higher when it start up many program, when idle oni drop to x5

cpu speed? ram? oc GC? OS?

many that will coz the result of 3DMark

yeah, actually its better to keep using this platinum board, n wait for the RD890 chipset that born for AM3..
but i really cnt tahan and money is not a prob, thn u can js go for any u like

yaya... OC a bit more.. 31xxMHz is still can go for a 5kBE
thn will help u bump ur 3DMark scoring

when ply game/bench no CnQ 1.... when no idle or normal usage CnQ thn...

but i dunoe how with ATI card, as i noe, nVIDIA card(9800 n above ) can run in idle condition too... it can run in energy saving mode for normal usage/idle.

is there any similar for ATI card?

spreading oni good for the non-HDTtech HSF, for HDT type, better let it spread by itself when u tighten it..
u may try n erro, put the TIM, thighten ur HSF, take it out to check the spreading, if not nice retry with another way until u get the nice spreading..

38F3? should be can do 3.2GHz easily

actually dunid wait 5series, 4series oledi good enuf, as long as u got their high ended card, mean something 4870/4890,
the performance will tahan lama..~ instead of getting their low/mid range card like 46xx or lower...

i oso interest to noe actually, last time i use 8450x3, change to 6000+ without any prob(change chip)

thn oso tried change mobo, M3A78-EM > M3A79T-DELUXE (same series chipset/ same manufacture)
so, it dun come with any prob, but, since i ever kena virus during using M3A79T-DELUXE,
aft settle the virus thingy(w/o format) , it seem load in OS (winXP) vy vy vy slow...(*counting on the xp loading bar around 22 times oni go in OS )

this condition can ask bro ktek too, since i bring it to gathering, we do OC use my HDD, load in OS damn lama..

but aft come bec frm gathering, i change bec to M3A78-EM, dunoe y, it seem can load in faster(loading bar around 12 times) to OS compare to M3A79T-DELUXE (around 22 times)

i oso dunoe the exact prob, mayb is that i begin format this hdd on this M3A78-EM, so work better with it?
