yeah, 780 always hv so many limit, 790 is the best!, and for asus board, oni recon to high-ended board only..
else low/mid better save up the $$ to buy budget board.. (*all IMO only)

high-ended normally will dun hv this prob, coz thy can boots in OS with lower vCORE compare to cheapo MB where it need more vCORE to boots in OS..

wow.. this is nice.. i vote with this test, for me its enuf for me if pass 32M(hyperPI) + 3DMark06 test (it is enuf for daily use/gaming)

but for benching need prime stable..

try pump more juice for it, see hw it goes, 1.45v see how, if cnt thn bump 1 step for each HTlink + NBfreq,
if still cnt thn mayb can consider hit the wall of the chip ad ohh..
