should i use celcom or not?
i plan to take the d98 package
btw i stay in usj 2
seeing so many complains i don't dare to try celcom anymore

i want to try the 7 day trial
but the problem is the modem
don't tell me i need to buy the modem for rm 299
what if i don't want it in 7 days time?
then i'm wasting rm 299 for the modem
*
i suggest u buy the modem... price: RM333

dont hear what ppl complain only... ask ppl who are satisfied too... wink.gif

renting the modem will increase the mthly fee by alot... in the end u lose more... go to blue cube or celcom center for more info.

i'm using it and so far i'm far more pleased compare to last time using maxis broadband.. that totally sucks. shakehead.gif

Hi,

Why my pc can't use vodafone software?
I test at other pc but no problem.
The cs also can't do anything.
They just set up dail-up networking for me.
So how i'm going to know if i'm using gprs, edge, umts or hsdpa?
how can we monitor our usage and how do we know if our speed is
being throttled?
thnks.
*
when u bought it? it's just plug in and run the autorun setup (like how u install apps and games)

vista and xp also supported.

if dark blue is 3G, lightblue is 3.5g HSDPA speed.

it will show on the mobile connect app as well

bottomline for wireless is that it is always based on coverage...

no/less coverage for that specific provider change also no use shakehead.gif

did celcom place a cap to accessing facebook sites?

i notice loading facebook would make the meter look like this:

10kb
20kb

anyone going through same situation? loading pages like thestar, lowyat forum, gmail has no issue... speed can reach 50kbps and above

In my opinion, it isn't a cap on Facebook, it seems more like an international connectivity issue.
*
so means users of streamyx will face this too?

using my office line is really fast opening it...

Your office line is on TMNET Streamyx as well? Usually business/corporate lines uses a different gateway and therefore it will be faster than home users.
*
ic... so that costs more huh...

why dont they do it for home users as well? choosing a faster gateway? hmm.gif
