facebook requires a lot of java based apps and codings... so its best to make sure your java plug in is up2date
http://filehippo.com/download_java_runtime/

or for a smoother surfing facebook i prefer using Google Chrome... its own java engine is better

another thing... try surf somewhere else besides sg chua... coz for sure after office hours kaw kaw congestion kicks in.. try diff places to see you can reach higher speeds or not on your d98

FYI, i'm currently using google chrome and lovin it ever since.. icon_rolleyes.gif

before this in my area even using d68 can chat using webcam... but nowadays even FB also quit a pain although upgrade to d98 recently... doh.gif

what bothers me the most is, celcom kajang centre is just around the corner and yet the connection in this area are considerably poor...

are anyone besides me facing similar problem, as i mentioned, currently i'm staying at jln sungai chua area which near seksyen 7 bandar baru bangi.. wink.gif

im living at sg ramal luar... just cross your silk hiway only... also super congestion... yes full bar HSDPA but who can beat the congestion~ whistling.gif

but when all ppl go work... super fast full speed my d68.. when congestion comes nothing u can do but wait for celcom to upgrade

im using cfosspeed software and using OpenDNS as my DNS ip... it improves stability but congestion still congestion~

r u sure with dat? bcoz celcom.net.my is bound for GPRS setting...im afraid, if we use celcom.net.my instead of celcom3g da possibility being charged for GPRS services (10cents/10kb) could occur since celcom got system prob on how da GPRS n 3G broadband bills are calculated...

Well I can't guarantee on that. But I can guarantee that I've been using this apn and the speed as well as the modem setting shows that I'm on HSDPA. I think apart from the apn, we should also set the modem to receive only 3g connections.

Again I need to remind that this is highly suitable for those with HSDPA/UMTS reception.
