Erm hello, so I had a pl21 previously and currently it's under warranty. And I've been browsing around, and thought I'll make pl21 a spare and buy another pair of SoundMagic.
The problem now is that my mind is going back and forth between E10 and E30.
I listen to wide genre of songs.

I tried E30 can say quite comfort with the sound, warmish, no piercing and have decent amount of bass might be good for all variety genre of songs.

The only thing I'm afraid of E10 is on the higher notes, there will be piercing?

Hi, I am a new owner of PL50. Never given much tought on good IEM before. Just starting in this audiophile world. Burn in is almost more than 50 hours now. I am not good at describing the sound but I'll try. PL50 is surely lacking in bass department. Not that it is not there, it just doesn't have that "thump, thump" feel that I am used to with other headphones and IEM. But the midrange and soundstage is better though. Clarity is excellent. I can hear details better. I use the L foam eartip. Only after about 1 week usage that I could find a really good positioning that can really seal and isolate outside noise that more bass can be heard.
After that, I start to make comparison with my Philips SHE7000BR. Wow, eventhough the philips has more powerful bass, I miss the soundstage, balance and clarity provided by the PL50.
In my opinion, overall, if you enjoy details in music without thumping bass, you'll love this. If not, look elsewhere.
